West Virginia’s Top Uncommitted Quarterback Prospects

Prep Redzone has complied a list of some of West Virginias top uncommitted quarterback prospects. These players maybe have been overlooked or not given the right amount of exposure. We are here to change that and give these amazing players who are on a lot of well respect college recruiting boards some exposure. From Division one talent to players who can contribute to any division II, III, or Juco school.       Hunter KelleyHunterKelley6'5" | QBLinsly | 2021StateWV  6’5" | 180 lbs | QB | Linsly | 2021  | #11 STATE RANK | #2 QB RANK   A dual-threat quarterback who has good athleticism and raw abilities. At 6’5 and nearly 200 Ibs, he shows flashes of speed and agility that is unusual for guys his size. He has adequate arm strength and velocity. Shows the ability to throw the ball deep downfield with requisite accuracy. His footwork and mechanics as a QB need some work but his raw talent and size should prove him worthy as a prospect. Shows flashes of velocity on throws to either receiver down the middle of the field or on out route throws. He can run with the ball with his long strides that build speed downfield and can break away from defenders. Shows flashes of deep ball arm strength with a touch on occasion. Throws well on the run and knows how to maneuver his body into position to deliver the ball. There is no doubt that his speed and arm strength are not aww inspiring and definitely need some work at the next level, but this QB can plan. He is a fierce competitor that is not afraid to take the ball and win the game himself. He is a difference-maker. A thick athletic build of a quarterback. The best way to put his playing style his matching him to someone similar to a Tim Tebow style of play. He is definitely a true dual-threat QB who can light up the scoreboard with his legs or his arm. He shows requisite arm strength and velocity relative to the position. He is proficient in the short to the intermediate passing game. He has decent footwork and mechanics but could use some improvement. He could definitely be a steal of a QB for a division II or III school. He can make throws on the run and throw with velocity in traffic. Finds the end-zone and receivers on the out route throws very often. Division II or JUCO type prospect with the potential to transfer to a Division I college in the future. Throws well down the middle of the field in traffic, has the velocity enough to do so. Pro-style QB that can still roll out and either gain a few yards or throw an accurate pass to an open receiver. Can roll out to either side of the field and deliver the ball. Shows requisite arm strength and velocity, probably one of the strongest arms of the QBs on the list. Shows he can throw the ball deep with velocity and strength.
