#1. Rodney McDay, 6’1” 180 – T.C. Roberson HS. Displays a quick first-step to get behind the defender to make the catch for long runs and scores often. He displays good speed in the open field. The expectations are high as he prepares for the upcoming season. The FCS offers should start to come in for him.
#2. Austin Poe, 6’1” 180 – Ashe County HS. Runs good pass routes and maneuvers past the defender for big gains, scoring frequently. He makes catches in traffic. He is expected to continue to improve as he prepares for the upcoming season. The FCS offers should start to come in for him.
#3. Carter Lindsay, 5’11” 180 – A. C. Reynolds HS. Runs pass routes well which enables him to separate from the defender to make the catch. He is tough to bring down after making the catch. He is expected to continue to improve as he prepares for the season. The D2 offers should start to come in for him.
#4. Ty Smith, 6’1” 195 – Avery County HS. Displays exceptional speed in the open field to outrun defender to make the catch and score. He runs pass routes well. He is expected to continue to improve as he prepares for the upcoming season. The FCS offers should start to come in for him.
#5. JJ Mannan, 5’11” 160 – Ashe County HS. Displays good technique to separate from defender to make the catch. Gains yards after making the catch. He is expected to continue to improve as he prepares for the upcoming season. The D3 offers should start to come in for him.
