St. Viator:
WR Duo: PJ Scales & Joseph Laterza – Scales & Laterza are both apart of the class of 2021 and go hand in hand as a 1-2 punch for this offensive receiving core. Scales has quick acceleration that he uses to run jet sweeps and get upfield once he catches the ball turning a short route into a big gain. He is elusive/shifty making defenders miss the first tackle and is a deep threat with his speed. Laterza high points the ball which helps him make those contested catches in tight coverages. He goes up and gets the ball, has quick feet when being pressed to stack the defender, blocks downfield, and fights for extra yards. If you try to stop one of these players the other will beat you deep creating a headache for opposing defenses.
