Here is a look at five players who were not in the initial preseason rankings, but who are now in the rankings after solid 2020 high school seasons.
RB, Aquantez LoveAquantezLove6'0" | RBOlathe North | 2022StateKS, 6’0”, 195, Olathe North (Ranked No. 15) – Love rushed for 896 yards in a COVID shortened season for Olathe North. He is a quick runner and scored 12 touchdowns in 2020. He is the second-highest ranked running back from the Kansas Class of 2022.
ATH, Lucas BullockLucasBullock6'1" | ATHBlue Valley North | 2022StateKS, 6’1”, 205, Blue Valley North (Ranked No. 28) – What position Bullock plays in college might be determined by a program’s needs, however, it is clear that Bullock has the skills to play collegiately. The Blue Valley North Mustang played running back and free safety in 2020. He could be a solid player early in his college career on a special teams unit.
