Gbayor led Irvington’s defense from the linebacker position. He finished with 13 tackles and two sacks in a game against Pope John this season. His numbers were eye-popping but he has to be seen in person to fully understand his ability. Nebraska is getting a good one in the Irvington product.
LB: Emeril Mitchell (2022) | Winslow

Daly finished with double-digit tackles in all but one game this season. He was as sure of a tackler as there was. Ball carriers were unable to get away from Daly in the open field.
DB: Al-Jay Henderson (2021) | Irvington
Irvington had a First-Team selection at all three levels. It continues with Henderson in the secondary. He doubled as a running back and knew how to use his speed on the defensive side of the ball.

DB: Jake Chapman (2021) | Cranford
Chapman finished with two interceptions and two kick returns for a touchdown this season. He showed an ability to do whatever was asked. This was thanks to his versatility on both sides of the ball.
UTIL: Yah-Sin Calhoun (2021) | Freehold Boro
Calhoun put up some of the best numbers of any defensive back. He was near the tp of the state with six interceptions and finished with 113 tackles. Calhoun was a huge part of Freehold Boro’s game plan on both sides.
