One of the top defensive backs in the state of Georgia has made his public commitment.

2022 cornerback JaDarian Rhym committed to the LSU Tigers this week over programs including Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, among others. Rhym has really good size and an excellent frame at 6-foot-1 170-pounds with above-average athleticism. Not only has he shown the ability to be a true cover corner on the outside, but he’s one of the more physical cornerbacks in South Georgia. Like the Valdosta program that he plays for, Rhym is tough and hard-working. He plays until the whistle and plays with a high football IQ.

The 2022 class is incredibly deep across the state at cornerback but Rhym has proved as a junior that he’s one of the best. His recruitment took off this summer after a very impressive sophomore year, and he followed it up this fall with another impactful season.

The toughness and ability to help in the run game is great, but his cover skills and instincts are what makes him one of the top cornerbacks in the South. He’s fundamentally sound, he has great footwork, and does a great job of staying his his receiver. He shows really good
