Here are a few top performers from the peach state who turned heads at the event.
Quarterback:
The top QB performer from the Peach state had to be Crisp County’s Ahmad Brown. The young 2023 gunslinger was consistent all day and showed off impressive arm talent and mechanics. 2025 star Antwann Hill Jr continued to impress as one of the top young quarterbacks across the South. The 6-foot-4 200-pounder has great size for his age and throws the ball with ease.
Other impressive performances came from Quinton Griffin (Union Grove), Conyer Smith (Winder Barrow), and Matt Peavy (Brookwood).
Running Back:
The top running back performer was easily Dutchtown’s Amarion Yarbough. The quick, agile 2023 back can do a little bit of everything and showed reliable hands in the passing game. He’s a natural runner and turned some heads all camp.
A 2022 RB who stood out was Alpharetta bruiser Tylan Johnson. The big, powerful back is a tackle-breaker who looks great physically and has a chance to have a giant senior season in the fall.
Wide Receiver:
2022 WR Reggie Givhan of Hillgrove was the big peach-state star at receiver. He plays bigger than his size and looked very crisp as he ran routes all camp. He’s a quick, twitchy receiver who knows how to get open.
2022 WR Marcus Sanders is a big bodied 6-foot-3 200-pounder from Macon County who uses his frame well to snag passes and beat smaller defenders. He was a player who earned plenty of attention.
Offensive Line:
One young lineman who saw his stock rise after the camp was 2023 young buck Khayri Mapson of Lithia Springs. Not only did he perform well all day, but he has a very promising future on Friday nights with his quick feet, athleticism, and frame that will allow him to put on more muscle and build strength in the offseason leading up to a possibly strong 2021 season in the fall.
Defensive Line:
One of the most talented position groups at the camp, the defensive line was led by 2023 interior lineman Seven Cloud Seven Cloud 6'3" | 325 lbs | DL McEachern | 2023 State GA . The massive sophomore from McEachern is listed at 6-foot-4 300-pounds with raw strength and above average mobility. His best football is ahead of him and his ceiling is sky high. Cloud is committed to play football at UGA and should rise in the 2023 rankings over time.
Edge rusher Denzel Moore Denzel Moore 6'2" | 220 lbs | DL Grayson | 2023 State GA also had a great camp. The hybrid defender is athletic enough to play linebacker as well but really knows how to get after thee passer from the edge. He’s long, athletic, and has the frame to get even bigger and stronger over the next three years. As a 2023 prospect, Moore is one to watch with SEC potential down the road.
Another interior lineman who had a big camp was Dougherty’s Stantavious Smith Stantavious Smith 6'3" | 245 lbs | DL Dougherty | 2023 State GA . Another strong, thick lineman, Smith is quick for his size and has the versatility to play multiple positions along the defensive line at the next level.
Linebacker:

He moves well, can cover in space, but also knows how to tackle correctly and make a big play. He was natural and fluid in coverage and really improved his stock moving forward.
Of course, another 2023 linebacker to know is Dwight Johnson Jr. from Dutchtown. He’s another big, physical player with a great frame who continues to get better and better. He’s expected to have a giant junior season this fall and could see his recruitment take off sooner than later.
Another under the radar performer who impressed was Andrew Martin from McDonough. He’s a promising middle linebacker who already looks like a college linebacker from a physical standpoint. He’s very coachable and had an outstanding camp.
Defensive Back:
in the 2023 class, Brookwood standout Cory Elliot had a great camp. The 5-foot-11180-pounder is a smooth, natural runner with quick hips and exceptional fundamentals. He’s a versatile defender who can cover receivers on the outside or play safety in the back end.
Trinity Christian athlete Aaron Gates Aaron Gates 6'0" | 180 lbs | ATH Trinity | 2023 State GA was another standout in the secondary from the 2023 class. Gates has tremendous ball skills and could be one of the top-ranked athletes in Georgia for his class down the road. He’s athletic enough to turn around and play some receivers, but his size and natural instincts on defense should turn him into an impact defensive back at the next level.
