In 15 games Horn led 7A in passing yards. He finished the season with 3,910 yards, a 65.4 completion percentage on 552 attempts, 41 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions. He was a gunslinger for Collins Hill, guiding them all the way to the 7A championship game. Horn has a simple delivery motion, releasing over-the-top. He understands how to use touch and can make a variety of throws. He already has offers from Louisville, Michigan State, and Missouri.

Hughes played 10 games this season and totaled 2,703 passing yards. He had the second-most passing yards in 7A. Hughes completed 60.9% of his 299 pass attempts with 28 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. Hughes has a live arm and was not afraid to air it out this past season. He has good touch, being able to drop the ball over linebackers. He is a dual-threat and rushed for 535 yards and 8 touchdowns. He has already received an offer from Western Carolina.

There was a tie for the third leading passer. In 11 games, Swann finished with 2,505 yards, a completion percentage of 60.3 on 262 pass attempts, 23 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions. His electric play helped lift Cherokee to 8-3 and a playoff appearance. He has great pocket awareness, he showed the ability to avoid pass rushers and get his throw off. Strong arm, making multiple throws this season without relying on his legs. His great play has already got him offers from Florida International University, Kent State, and Maryland.

Ratliff was tied with Swann for third with 2,505 yards. In 10 games, he completed 66.3% of his 249 pass attempts with 22 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. He’s a dual-threat and turned many potential negative plays into positive play. Ratliff looks comfortable outside the pocket and throwing on the run. Takes what the defense gives him and does not force the ball often. Can make the deep throw. Ratliff has the potential to see success at the next level.
Michael Maginnis, Class of 2021, Newnan
The fifth leading passer from the 2020 season was Maginnis. He played 11 games, finishing with 2,490 yards, a 62.5 completion percentage on 261 attempts, 21 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions. Maginnis was a big factor in Newnan finishing 9-2 and making the playoffs this year. Maginnis has good arm strength, he had no problem throwing the ball down the field. Excels at leading his receiver with the ball, helping them pick up yards after the catch.
