Here is a quick look at some of the top performers from the Class of 2025 (current eighth graders) and Class of 2026 (seventh graders) at the camp…
Class of 2025 (listed with future high schools)
Mike Cunningham, OL-DL, 6-2 1/2, 234, Lafayette
Let’s start by saying you wouldn’t have believed Cunningham was in eighth grade if he told you so. He already has decent size for a high schooler and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him grow into a college prospect as an offensive lineman, defensive lineman or tight end. Cunningham recorded a 5.06-second short shuttle, a broad jump of 7 feet 3 inches and a vertical leap of 22 inches.
Dillon Duff, QB, 6-0, 153, De Smet
The De Smet program has had some talented athletes in the past few years and Duff looks like a future impact player for the Spartans. He ran the short shuttle in 4.38 seconds, recorded a broad jump of 8 feet 4 inches and a vertical leap of 29 1/2 inches.
Trey Bass, WR, 5-7 1/2, 142, Fort Zumwalt South
Bass excelled in the testing. He turned in an outstanding 4.69 hand-timed 40-yard dash, a short shuttle of 4.32 seconds, a broad jump of 8 feet 4 inches and a vertical leap of 30 inches. He’s not the biggest kid right now, of course, but his testing numbers proved he’ll be a player to watch as he grows and matures.
Keon Sloan, WR, 5-9, 193, Belleville (Ill.) West
Sloan recorded a sub 5-second hand-timed 40-yard dash, a 4.37-second short shuttle, a broad jump of 8 feet 7 inches and a vertical leap of 29 1/2 inches.
Tommy Glacken, RB, 5-6 1/2, 162, Francis Howell Central
One of several future Howell Central Spartans at the showcase, Glacken and his future teammates have bright futures. He recorded a sub-5 second hand-timed 40-yard dash and a 4.49-second short shuttle with a broad jump of 7 feet 9 inches and a vertical leap of 28 1/2 inches.
Class of 2026
Nick McClellan, QB, 5-6, 132, Francis Howell
McClellan attended the showcase with his brother Jeremiah, a 2024 standout wide receiver at CBC. Nick and Jeremiah’s older brother, Matt, was a standout defensive end at Francis Howell High School who went on to play at Missouri State. The youngest McClellan, who throws the ball instead of catching it or chasing it, is a talented youngster to watch. He recorded a short shuttle of 4.96 seconds, a broad jump of 6 feet 10 inches and a vertical leap of 22 inches.
Jayden McCaster, WR, 5-0, 107, John Burroughs
The smallest player at the showcase, McCaster gets a mention here after running a 4.53-second short shuttle, recording a broad jump of 8 feet 1 inches and a vertical of 22 1/2 inches.
