There were many dominant rushing performances in 7A this season. 7A is full of many great running backs from the classes of 2021 and 2022. Let’s take a look at the top rushing yards leaders from this past season. These players can add value to programs at the next level.


Cody BrownCodyBrown6'0" | RBParkview | 2021StateGA, Class of 2021, Parkview
Brown balled out for Parkview this year and led 7A in rushing yards this season. He played 12 games, rushed for 1,527 yards on 212 carries, and had 12 touchdowns. He was the definition of reliable for Parkview, averaging 7.2 yards per carry. He’s strong, can run through contact. He carried defenders all season long, on multiple plays he gained extra yards. He has good stamina and maintains his play throughout the game. Tennessee is getting a very good player in Brown.

Jayden Bolton, Class of 2021, East Coweta
The second-leading rusher in 7A was Bolton from East Coweta. In 11 games, he rushed for 1,400 yards on 179 carries and 17 touchdowns. He was a big factor in moving the chains for East Coweta, averaging 7.7 yards per carry. He
