Denton Ryans’ Defense stood out the most and controlled most of the game Friday night in Arlington. Ryans’ offense was usually in the spotlight for most of the season but at the game versus Mansfield Summit. The Defense is the one who rose to the occasion and helped the Raiders to a victory. ( 49-35 ) over Mansfield.
Mansfield Summit was no easy defeat. They had a high powered offense with many college prospects on their team like RB Jaydon LottJaydonLott5'9" | RBMansfield Summit | 2021TX, Hal PresleyHalPresley6'4" | WRMansfield Summit | 2021TX ( who is signed to play WR at Aubrun next year) , DB Sean SmithSeanSmith6'0" | DBMansfield Summit | 2021TX, DL Kamren WashingtonKamrenWashington6'1" | DLMansfield Summit | 2021TX, and 6’6 LT Jacoby JacksonJacobyJackson6'6" | OLMansfield Summit | 2021TX (signed to be a red raider next year ). On a field filled with so much talent, the play sure was so electrifying, it was like watching a heavyweight fight.

Ty MarshTyMarsh6'0" | DBRyan | 2021TX play was huge for the Raiders on defense as he had a forced fumble and helped lead Ryan to their seventh state title game. On December 10, 2020, Ty had announced that he had de-committed from the University of Houston and had opened back up his recruitment. During these playoff appearances, Ty has definitely made his name known and has played lights out on the defensive side of the ball. Swarming to the ball and making big plays happen. Look for Ty to land a big-time offer in the near future with the way he is playing.
Among a few others alongside Ty on Defense who stood out was DT
Bear Alexander

Anthony HillAnthonyHill6'2" | LBDenton Ryan | 2023TX , who had a combined 4 sacks on the night and 6 tackles.
Bear Alexander
BearAlexander6'3" | DLRyan | 2022StateTX is a big time division I prospect who has all of the sweet 16 schools looking to add him to their player roster and check him off their recruiting board.

Billy Bowman
BillyBowman5'10" | ATHRyan | 2021StateTX Jr., the Under Armour All - American seemed to always be at the right place at the right time with a big play on defense with a one-handed INT, and oh yeah, another one-handed reception on offense. Putting on a clinic with 13 catches for 134 yards giving him 14 TDs on the year.
Denton Ryan will be facing Cedar Park in the state championship game. Cedar Park is just coming off a ( 61-28 ) victory over C.C. Memorial. Quarterback
Ryder HernandezRyderHernandez6'0" | QBCedar Park | 2021TX, who we have featured in many articles here at Prep Redzone. Who is arguable, one of the most underrated class of 2021 QBs in the state. In his last game, he threw for some eye whopping numbers through the air. Putting up 380 yards passing and 7 touchdowns.
Ryder has had performances similar to the ones he had this past game in San Antonio against Memorial. He is a truly dynamic player who is getting a lot of attention at the current moment because of his superb play and the lack of division I offers he has. Party due to the fact that Ryder is not your prototypical 6’4 Qb standing at 6’0. Currently, Ryder has offers from Abilene Christian, Houston Baptist, Incarnate Word, Northern Arizona, and Northern Colorado. His recruitment is still open and he is still looking to call a place his home for the next four years of his academic and athletic career.
Looking forward, it will be Cedar Park vs Denton Ryan for the 5A -Division I State Championship football game in Arlington.
