Denton Ryans’ Defense stood out the most and controlled most of the game Friday night in Arlington. Ryans’ offense was usually in the spotlight for most of the season but at the game versus Mansfield Summit. The Defense is the one who rose to the occasion and helped the Raiders to a victory. ( 49-35 ) over Mansfield.
Mansfield Summit was no easy defeat. They had a high powered offense with many college prospects on their team like RB Jaydon Lott Jaydon Lott 5'9" | 160 lbs | RB Mansfield Summit | 2021 TX , Hal Presley Hal Presley 6'4" | 195 lbs | WR Mansfield Summit | 2021 TX ( who is signed to play WR at Aubrun next year) , DB Sean Smith Sean Smith 6'0" | 175 lbs | DB Mansfield Summit | 2021 TX , DL Kamren Washington Kamren Washington 6'1" | 275 lbs | DL Mansfield Summit | 2021 TX , and 6’6 LT Jacoby Jackson Jacoby Jackson 6'6" | 320 lbs | OL Mansfield Summit | 2021 TX (signed to be a red raider next year ). On a field filled with so much talent, the play sure was so electrifying, it was like watching a heavyweight fight.
Ryan had a few players stand out, no one more other than DB – Ty Marsh Ty Marsh 6'0" | 185 lbs | DB Ryan | 2021 TX ,
Denton Ryan 2021 DB Ty Marsh was fantastic tonight as his Ryan Raiders punched another ticket to #UILState.
Marsh played with a terrific motor making plays on both defense and in special teams. He was a major factor in tonight’s win for his team. Playmaker. #txhsfb | @TyMarsh7 pic.twitter.com/U5Kp4Wc9dG

Ty Marsh Ty Marsh 6'0" | 185 lbs | DB Ryan | 2021 TX play was huge for the Raiders on defense as he had a forced fumble and helped lead Ryan to their seventh state title game. On December 10, 2020, Ty had announced that he had de-committed from the University of Houston and had opened back up his recruitment. During these playoff appearances, Ty has definitely made his name known and has played lights out on the defensive side of the ball. Swarming to the ball and making big plays happen. Look for Ty to land a big-time offer in the near future with the way he is playing.
Among a few others alongside Ty on Defense who stood out was DT Bear Alexander Bear Alexander 6'3" | 325 lbs | DL Ryan | 2022 FL and LB Anthony Hill , who had a combined 4 sacks on the night and 6 tackles. Bear Alexander Bear Alexander 6'3" | 325 lbs | DL Ryan | 2022 FL is a big time division I prospect who has all of the sweet 16 schools looking to add him to their player roster and check him off their recruiting board.
