Jeremiah Tyler Jeremiah Tyler 6'1" | 225 lbs | LB Chandler | 2021 State AZ , 6’2″ 225lbs, Chandler HS
Tyler has a strong build and has shown big position versatility at LB and along the DL. He shows impressive quick, athletic hands to finesse his way around opponents, then utilizes a strong striking ability. Good physicality overall, and has shown the ability to use power or finesse. Tyler displays a quick initial get off with good upper and lower flexibility to be able to bend and move around. He has shown good short area quickness as an OLB and did a good job timing his blitzes. He was a definite mismatch with his strength and quickness while blitzing and was constantly in opponents backfields. He’ll fit in numerous defensive schemes, and will be an absolute steal wherever he ends up. He holds notable offers from Nevada, Air Force, Army, Howard, Ball State, Georgetown, Brown, Furman University, and Western New Mexico.
Kam Cullimore Kam Cullimore 5'11" | 200 lbs | LB Highland | 2021 State AZ , 5’11″ 200lbs, Highland HS
Cullimore is a hard nosed, gritty LB that has no off-switch. He shows good play recognition along with solid instincts and reaction. He has good range at LB and is strong at the POA. He has good short area quickness and does an excellent job of recognizing and filling opening alleys to meet ball carriers at or behind the LOS. Cullimore possesses a big striking ability to punish ball carriers if they meet him squared up. He has solid flexibility and is elusive in tight spaces. He processes plays fast showing a solid football IQ and has shown to be an effective communicator. Cullimore holds notable offers from Southwest Minnesota State and Gila River (AZ Juco).
Wyatt Zellner Wyatt Zellner 6'0" | 205 lbs | LB Gilbert | 2021 State AZ , 6’0″ 205lbs, Gilbert HS
Zellner shows an excellent football IQ and is a good communicator. He also saw time at QB, and did a great job transferring that QB IQ to LB which aids in his field awareness and play recognition. He is a fundamental tackler and shows solid closing speed all around as a tackler. Strong at the POA with a good striking ability if he gets squared up. Zellner has good range at MLB as he can make plays from sideline to sideline. He has shown excellent pursuit, as he’s made plays 20+ yards downfield. He is strong in zone coverage, and has an excellent understanding of zone concepts and responsibilities. Very good ball skills for a LB, and is a compact LB overall. He holds notable offers from Mayville State, Linfield University, and Concordia College (MN).
Victor Zayas Victor Zayas 6'1" | 220 lbs | LB Hamilton | 2021 State AZ , 6’1″ 220lbs, Hamilton HS
Zayas is a tough, athletic kid with versatility at LB. He shows excellent physicality and does a great job shedding or disengaging from blocks to make plays. He has quick, athletic hands and has shown to swipe away linemen with longer reaches and can be a feared pass rusher. He plays speedy ball carriers well as he breaks down the the POC and doesn’t let them dance around him. He is very good in coverage, as he has shown a good understanding of zone responsibilities. He has proven to be athletic enough to man up against TE’s or RB’s and lock them up. He reads the QB well and closes on receivers quickly, initiating immediate contact which forced multiple PBU’s.
Micah Ferrin Micah Ferrin 6'5" | 230 lbs | LB American Leadership Academy (Queen Creek) | 2021 State AZ , 6’5″ 230lbs, American Leadership Academy- Queen Creek
Ferrin displays a good initial get off as a pass rusher and utilizes his quickness and length well to get into the backfield. He is very quick off the edges, oftentimes untouched by OT’s. He does a good job recognizing screens and not getting sucked upfield to put himself in position to make plays. He’s shown a good lateral tackling ability using his length well around the LOS. Ferrin does his best work as a pass rusher. He was lethal in 4A and a mismatch against most opponents. He’s stepped up in big time games to be a leader on the defensive side of the ball. Ferrin holds a notable offer from the University of Sioux Falls.
