Some of these linemen may have not gotten the spotlight they deserved by shortened seasons and canceled games, etc. So we are here to showcase a few prospects from around the state who are on our PrepRedzone ranked list who are still yet to be committed to a university but are on quite a few recruiting boards. Enjoy!
Chris Hudson Chris Hudson 6'4" | 235 lbs | DL Capital | 2021 State WV – Capital High School
1st team All-Valley, 2nd team All-conference, defensive end at 6’5, 245 ILBS. Chris Hudson Chris Hudson 6'4" | 235 lbs | DL Capital | 2021 State WV is a very athletic defensive end. He has a high ceiling with his athletic ability and size at the next level. He plays with great leverage and has a great burst off the ball. He has a devastating first punch, as he extends off linemen to keep an eye in the backfield. His arm span is lengthy ( wingspan is 77″ ), so when he extends off O-linemen he is able to see where the ball is and disengages his blocker to make a sack or TFL. He has good, violent hand moves that he uses to bull rush and push back offensive linemen. What really stood out the most is his patience when it comes to filling his gap, he is able to disengage his blocker and wait patiently for the play to come to him to make a tackle, he does his job well. I believe his build and a few other things technique-wise could be improved but that can be done at the next level, Chris is a good FCS/ FBS or Division II type of prospect who holds offers to Bluefield State College, West Virginia, and Glenville State.

Jordan Brueck Jordan Brueck 6'3" | 260 lbs | DL Weir | 2021 State WV – Weir High School
Jordan is a big boy at 6’3″, 300 Ibs. For his size, he moves well, has good speed, and surprisingly good agility. He plays both offensive/defensive line, however, I believe he plays his best football on the D-line. They line him up as a defensive end playing a head-up 4 or outside 9 technique, which tells you what his coach thinks of his speed and athleticism, despite being a bit on the heavier side for what is usually accustomed for that position. I say put him at nose tackle and let him destroy lesser athletic opposing linemen. His burst of the ball is good, has a good first step and punch. Knocks and pushes the offensive line back with his strength. He shows he has the ability to make TFLs, sacks, and tackles. I think at the next level, if he trims down and puts on a bit more muscle, he will be an unstoppable player. Possibly a good division II or III player who would be a steal at the next level and can be used at multiple positions.
Ethan Northcraft Ethan Northcraft 6'2" | 260 lbs | OL Musselman | 2021 State WV – Musselman High School
2019 West Virginia All-State Honors, this center is a nasty, –physical blocker, who can block out in space with his athleticism. His size is average for a center at 6’2,255 lbs, although, he is a little bit more on athletic size and could put on some size in college. He is the leader on the offensive line and he leads by example by his play. He plays fast and physical, he has a great first punch and has good footwork. Snaps are always perfect as he plays in mostly a spread type of offense snapping the ball out of shotgun. Currently holds offers to Randolph-Macon College, Fairmont State, and West Virginia Wesleyan College.

Andrew Vickers Andrew Vickers 6'4" | 280 lbs | OL ST. Albans | 2021 State WV – St. Albans High School
At 6’4, 300 lbs, Andrew is a big athletic lineman who plays both sides of the ball but plays his best on the offensive line. Coaches think they can work with his skill and technique on either side of the ball because of his size and potential. He needs a lot of work on his technique, footwork is adequate as an offensive lineman, but his technique is poor. He currently has offers to West Virginia Wesleyan College, Concord University, and Muskingum University.
