#1. Kobe Burns-Ceasar, 6’4” 185 – Alexander Central HS. Displays good speed in the open field. Reacts quickly and defends well in one-on-one coverage. The expectations are high as he prepares for the upcoming season. He should attract some FCS interest and D2 offers.
#2. Peyton Payne, 6’2” 145 – Alexander Central HS. Reads the plays well and closes in quickly to break up the pass, intercepting the pass quite often. He plays with a lot of energy on the field. He should continue to improve as he prepares for the upcoming season. The D3 offers should start to come in for him.
#3. Bryson Effler, 5’10” 160 – McDowell HS. Displays good vision and reads plays well. Good quickness as he closes in to break up the pass. He is active and gets in on a high number of tackles. He should continue to improve as he prepares for the upcoming season. He should attract some D2 offers.
#4. Dequan Boyce, 6’0” 180 – Charles D. Owen HS. Displays patience and waits for the play to develop before reacting. Displays good speed to close quickly to stop the run or pass. He is a physical player who delivers punishing tackles.
