The review of football players in Western North Carolina continues.  The next group of players up for review are the linebackers.  Four linebackers made the cut.  The players listed are the best in the area:

#1.  Harley Allison, 6’1” 185 – McDowell HS.  Displays good lateral movement and covers receivers on short routes.  He runs well in the open field to cover ground to make the play.  He is expected to continue to improve as he prepares for the upcoming season.  The D3 offers should start to come in for him.

#2.  Alex Lemmens, 6’2” 230 – Hendersonville HS.  Reads the play well and closes in quickly to make the stop.  Displays good lateral movement and sheds the blocker to disrupt the play.  The expectations are high as he prepares for the upcoming season.  The D2 offers should start to come in for him.

#3.  Blake Roberts, 5’6” 145 – Charles Owen HS.  Plays with a high level of energy on the field.  Displays patience and lets the play develop before closing in to make the stop.  He is expected to continue to improve as he prepares for the upcoming season.  The D3 offers should start
