Jal (NM) offensive lineman Roger CarreonRogerCarreon6'5" | OLJal | 2022StateNM was offered by Mountain West powerhouse Boise State Friday, just one days after he was offered by Army and one week after picking up an offer from Air Force.

Carreon now holds six offers. Besides the three aforementioned schools, he was previously offered by New Mexico, Illinois State and UNLV.

But it might only be a matter of time before he secures his first Power 5 offer. Carreon tells Prep Redzone New Mexico that he’s recently been in contact with coaches from Oklahoma, Texas Tech and Texas A&M. Cal and UCLA coaches have contacted him also.

Carreon said he exchanges text messages ‘here and there’ with Oklahoma’s O-Line coach.

“I feel the same way after every offer, full of excitement and full of eagerness to get better,” Carreon told Prep Redzone New Mexico. “Academics mean a lot to me and my family, so I make sure to have the best grades.”

Carreon boosted his recruiting stock further with an impressive showing at the recent Trench Bullies
