This tightly packed crop of talent is vast. Needless to say, we’re going to need a few entries to get to them all.
Over the course of a week, we will break down every single one of the players from this ultra-rich zone, one we expect top-flight production from next fall.
Jeadyn Lukus Jeadyn Lukus 6'2" | 180 lbs | DB Mauldin | 2022 State SCSchool: Mauldin
Position: Defensive back
Analysis: The big boys of college football see everything they want out of a cornerback, and we can’t argue with any of it. Lukus is fast, lanky and scary enough that few even try to test him anymore.
Collin Sadler Collin Sadler 6'5" | 295 lbs | OL Greenville | 2022 State SCSchool: Greenville
Position: Offensive line
Analysis: The Clemson verbal has a definite mean streak in his repertoire, something we believe gives him an edge and allows him to dominate while mostly playing left tackle.
Jaleel Skinner Jaleel Skinner 6'5" | 215 lbs | TE Greer | 2022 SCSchool: Greer
Position: Tight end
Analysis: Skinner has offers from schools all over the Power 5, and it’s because he runs his routes like a receiver without giving away size to anyone who might possibly cover him.
Eli Henderson Eli Henderson 6'4" | 290 lbs | OL Byrnes | 2022 State SCSchool: Byrnes
Position: Offensive line
Analysis: Henderson made the transition to center look effortless, as he was the starting-off point for a Rebels squad that averaged better than 33 points per game while limiting turnovers.
Elijah “EJ” Evett
School: Seneca
Position: Wide receiver
Analysis: Seneca gets the ball into Evett’s hands any way that can, and, in turn, that produced the type of receiver who can make the most of anything from a slip screen to the deep route.
Jackson Hall Jackson Hall 6'3" | 290 lbs | OL Belton-Honea Path | 2022 State SCSchool: Belton-Honea Path
Position: Offensive line
Analysis: More impressive than the 6-foot-3, 290-pound tackle’s pancake tally is how many clips there are of him blocking people from the side and back because he spun them around with first contact.
