State Rank: 2 – POS[Rank] #1. Shaleak Knotts Shaleak Knotts 6'2" | 175 lbs | WR Monroe | 2022 State NC , 6’2” 175, Monroe HS. He is an athletic, sure-handed receiver who makes a high number of catches in traffic. He runs precision pass routes and displays ability to separate from defender. He accelerates after making the catch and outruns the defender to gain big yardage, a threat to score anytime the ball is in his hands. He will continue to ignite the offense during the upcoming season.
State Rank: 16 – POS[Rank] #2. William Hawkins IV William Hawkins IV 6'4" | 205 lbs | WR Heritage | 2023 SC , 6’4” 210, Heritage HS. He runs precision pass routes and separates from the defender very quickly. Displays the athletic ability to make adjustment to catch bad passes. He has powerful hands and catches the ball in his hands. He is a big receiver who is a combination of speed and power. His stock rose after strong performances during a busy offseason camp schedule, highlighted by his performance at the VTO Sports All-American Challenge at IMG Academy. Big number production season is expected during the upcoming season.
State Rank: 17 – POS[Rank] #3. Dakota Twitty Dakota Twitty 6'5" | 225 lbs | WR Thomas Jefferson | 2022 State NC , 6’4” 205, Thomas Jefferson Academy HS. Big receiver who uses his body to shield off the defender to make the catch. He runs good pass patterns and displays good speed in the open field. Displays ability to make catches in traffic. His high level of play is expected to continue during the upcoming season.
State Rank: 19 – POS[Rank] #4. Darius Kane Darius Kane 6'2" | 170 lbs | WR High Point Christian | 2022 State NC , 6’0” 170, Eastern Alamance HS. He was the leader in receiving yards amongst Sophomore Wide Receivers in NC during the 2019 season. He displays the ability to separate from the defender to make the catch in traffic. Displays ability to get open on the long ball with ease. He is expected to continue a high-level of play during the upcoming season.
State Rank: 23 – POS[Rank] #5. Mehki Wall Mehki Wall 5'10" | 160 lbs | WR Dudley | 2022 State NC , 5’10” 160, Dudley HS. Athletic receiver with explosive speed to run past defenders. Displays ability to make catches in traffic and on the long ball passing routes. He is a dual threat to score with the ball in his hands as a receiver and as a kick-off returner. His exciting play is expected to continue during the upcoming season.
