Raymond Collins Raymond Collins 6'2" | 220 lbs | LB Harrison Central | 2022 State MS | Harrison Central
A bit of a high cut frame with good length is seen when looking at Collins physically. The best trait on film, for Collins, appears with his eyes which helped him attain nearly 100 tackles as a junior. The up and coming senior does a great job technically of positioning himself correctly to make plays, no matter if that is in pass defense or tracking down the football in the run game. He has a good understanding of blocking schemes and knows how to navigate to the ball. Collins plays with dangerous intentions as a tackler and at 100MPH. Expect to see Collins name appear as an inside linebacker on college recruiting boards across the south in the coming months.
Jaharon Griffin Jaharon Griffin 6'0" | 230 lbs | LB Neshoba Central | 2022 State MS | Neshoba Central
Griffin “wow’s” on film as a downhill attacking force of a linebacker. As a junior, Griffin totaled right at 100 tackles with an astounding 20.5 TFL’s. What Griffin lacks in height he makes up for in motor and athleticism. The feet of the rising senior are smooth and crisp in changing direction without losing any of his speed in the process. Griffin impresses with the angles he takes in working to the football and seems to have a really great feel for the game in front of him. Altogether, this is a hard nosed kid that obviously loves the game and craves contact. This is the type of player you want to play with and not against.
Keon Cunningham Keon Cunningham 6'0" | 200 lbs | LB West Point | 2022 State MS | West Point
West Point has without a doubt been the cream of the crop in MS high school football for the last decade and that reputation has been built on the backs of quality defenders link Cunningham. Albeit far from the biggest or tallest person on the field, Cunningham gets the job done as evidenced by the over 120 tackles he accumulated during his JR year. Elite explosiveness is showcased by the head hunter from his inside linebacker position. Cunningham plays with a physical edge and with good form as a tackler. If a growth spurt were to be hit over the upcoming summer it would be realistic to see Cunningham have offers from everyone.
