The top game-changers and top quarterbacks represented well for their respected teams, and who made their name known to all in attendance. Let’s take a look at some of the athletes who made the list.
ALL-EN 7v7
Jacoby Davis ( 23 ) | 5-11 DB | Northshore Senior HS ( TX )
Jacoby is a Division I prospect who showcases his talent each time he is on the field. He is tough, physical at the line of scrimmage and what I liked the most when watching his game tape is that he was a solid tackler. He was nearly shut down at the tournament and played excellently
Kedrick Reescano ( 23 ) | 5-11 RB | New Caney ( TX )
Kedrick earned his reignition with his athletic ability, which was arguably one of the best at the championship tournament. He plays with a high motor and flies around the field to make plays. Look for this guy to make headlines for years to come out of New Caney. He is a large physical presence. I really liked his size and speed, and ability to make people miss in the open field. Was recently offered by the Oklahoma State cowboys.

Kaleb Black Kaleb Black 5'10" | 160 lbs | WR Klein Oak | 2023 State TX (23 ) | 5-10 WR | Klien Oaks HS ( TX )
Kaleb was lights out at the tournament. His dangerous speed and route-running ability make him a force to be reckoned with on the gridiron. He will gas any defender and or juke them out with his impressive speed in which he can change directions. Kaleb impresses with his timing on routes and his vertical ability in which he can go up and make a play over a defender. This adds size to him because he plays like he is 6-2 and not 5-11.
C-Stat ( 18U Tournament Champs )
Jeff Huff ( 22 ) | 5-10 QB | College Station HS ( TX )
Jeff was slinging the ball all around the field and was super impressed with his decision-making and arm strength. Jeff had an ousting Junior season as well racking up 2,612 yards, 36 touchdowns, and was 73% on completion rating. That decision-making ability to make his throws with precise timing is what set him apart at the tournament. His work ethic and the time he has spent practicing with receiver / tight end Houston Thomas, was evident as these two made for a lethal combination leading their team to the 18U championship of the Battle of the Alamo City.
Houston Thomas ( 22 ) | 6-5 WR / TE | College Station HS
Houston’s size at 6-5 paired with his dangerous route running, speed, and hands —-make him a matchup nightmare for defenses. He cuts well in his routes and has quick feet. He can also block and make big plays seem routine. In watching his film, I learned that this is a hidden gem for any offense looking to add a big-time playmaker to their college roster. I won’t be surprised to see more division one offers to roll in for Houston after he just received his first one from the University of Kansas at the beginning of the month.

Defcon
Anthony Evans III ( 23 ) | 6-0 WR | Judson HS ( TX )
I was able to catch up with Anthony after his impressive performance on the field on Sunday. Making multiple catches and flashing impressive route running ability and speed. He said he has been receiving multiple offers and interest but that he is still considering his options at the moment. He has recently received offers from UTSA and the University of Houston. I expect by this time next year, Anthony will have dozens of offers and options of schools he will have to choose from. When I first watched Anthony live this year verse Steele, I knew he was a big-time sleeper and it was only a matter of time before college coaches started taking notice of his big-time play-making ability, speed, and agility.
Treylin Payne ( 22 ) | 6-0 LB | Judson HS
Another Judson HS product. Treylin has multiple offers to play division one ball and shows why every time he is on the field with his motor that never stops and his big-time playmaking ability on defense. He is a hard hitter and plays well versus the run and pass. Currently holds offers to Colorado State, UTSA, and Boston College.
Xion Lagrant ( 22 ) | 5-10 DB | East Central HS ( TX )
Xion is a big-time playmaker at DB. He is a big-time hitter and can cover the field well. He has dangerous speed and can also be used on special teams as a return man than can take punts to the house. He makes amazing cuts and has the break-away speed to leave defenders in the dust.
Carson Green ( 23 ) | 5-9 RB | Reagan ( TX)
Carson has been a severely underrated running back for far too long and it is time for colleges to start taking notice and start sending in offers before some other steals the opportunity. Carson is an absolute beast at the running back position. He can run people over, he has an impressive ability to make people miss, he has good lateral speed, and can change direction in an instant. When I saw him play versus Johnson last year. My mouth dropped at the hidden treasure of ability in Carson Green.
Elite House
Diego Narezo ( 22 ) | 6-0 QB | Cornerstone Christian ( TX )
Diego showcased his strong arm and athletic ability all tournament long. He was throwing darts all over the field to open receivers he would target. He has a laser arm and can make all of the throws in traffic down the middle of the field or towards the sideline. He shows a quick release paired with good footwork and an ability to throw on the run. He can deliver strikes while moving to either side of the field and I think he will be receiving some offers soon after he has been making more of a name for himself and proving why he is among the elite.
FVIII 7v7
JC Evans ( 24 ) | 6-4 QB | Bradeis HS ( TX )
JC was a joy to watch at the tournament proving to be one of the best young quarterbacks of the tournament. His size and ability are what really stand out when you first watch his play. He has a strong arm and can throw the ball downfield with touch, hitting receivers in stride. He showed good decision making and was quick to find an open receiver, or check down down the ball and keep driving the ball downfield. Look for this QB to be a well-known name for years to come and I expect his recruitment to start heating up after he proves himself on the gridiron next season for Brandeis. In meeting up with him he was very excited for the up incoming season and was confident in the ability of the guys coming back to contribute to the team.
Louisiana Bootleggers
Ronald “Champ” Lewis ( 22 ) | 6-2 DB | Warren Easton HS ( LA )
Champ is arguably one of the best DBs out of the state of Louisiana. Showed why he is on a lot of college recruiting boards during the tournament. His size for a DB is great and will only grow in college. His play on the field is elite at the DB position. In meeting with him, he was a very humble character who said he has had many offers and is still considering all of his options at the moment but that he has a few favorites in mind.
Jordan Allen ( 22 ) | 6-0 DB | Lafayette Christian Academy ( LA )
Jordan was also shutdown all tournament long. The bootlegger defense was arguably one of the best of the tournament and Jordan was a big contributor to that. He said he has 26 offers he is still considering and that it has definitely been a challenge dealing with COVID and recruiting and that he cannot wait to visit colleges in person when their time presents itself.
Laterrance Welch ( 22 ) | 6-1 DB | Acadiana HS ( LA )
Laterrance was making plays all tournament long. His size and build impress. He plays tough and physical. Able to jam receivers at the line and throw them off routes. He trails well and masks play on the ball obviously ass shown below. Just committed in January of this year to become join the tigers at LSU. Look for him to be a big-time playmaker in college and could even end up having his name called to play on Sundays.

Texas Pressure
Obinna Okeke ( 23 ) | 6-2 OLB | Cypress Falls HS ( TX )
Obinna is a great young athlete with a lot of potentials. The things that stood out the most were his athleticism making plays and flying all over the field and his pursuit of the ball. His size also doesn’t hurt, at 6-3, this linebacker is a playmaker on the field.
Braylon Thomas ( 24 ) | 5-11 DB | West Columbia ( TX )
Runs track and plays football, so his speed and athleticism are great for what you would like to see at the DB position. He can trail receivers and get his head turned around to track the ball and make a play on the ball. Tough, physical defender. I like him a lot and think he is a very good prospect.
Texas Fury
Mabrey Mettauer ( 24 ) | 6-4 QB | The Woodlands HS ( TX )
This is a QB you will hear a lot of in the future. His size and stature are very impressive for his age. He has a strong arm and can sling the ball down the field. He has good mechanics that will only improve as time goes on but out of all the QBs on the list, Mabrey is the one who impressed me the most. He has a bright future ahead and I believe he will add a couple of stars to his name by the time he graduates.
