Braxton Todd Braxton Todd 6'0" | 205 lbs | LB Martinsburg | 2022 State WV Martinsburg High School 2022 LB
Braxton had a big junior season and showed monster potential for this upcoming season. He showed impressive explosion with being a bigger line backer and showed his ability to run down any play with his speed. He filled gaps accordingly and was a consistent tackler for Martinsburg in his junior year. He shows big play ability and should see his leadership and playing role expand on both sides of the ball and continue to progress and make big plays for Martinsburg. Look for division 1 schools to be on his radar following his impressive junior year.
Nemo Roberts Nemo Roberts 6'1" | 265 lbs | DL Cabell Midland | 2022 State WV Cabell Midland High School 2022 DL
Nemo was one of the most dominant players in all of the state last year. He shows great explosion on his first step for being a interior lineman and showed his athleticism off with playing both in the exterior and outside playing defensive end. He consistently disrupts the pocket and often times gets double teamed and triple teamed to keep him out of the play. He shows great hands and the quickness to run down any play. He has big play ability and should grow to be even more dominant with adding a year under his belt and is without a question the best defensive lineman in the state right now.
Jaeden Hammack Jaeden Hammack 6'1" | 175 lbs | DB University | 2023 State WV University High School 2023 DB
Jaeden has been dominant since his freshman year of high school. He shows great athleticism when playing defensive back and hasn’t seen too much of any competition yet. He shows great patience and the speed to keep up with any receiver. He’s a ball hawk with a great knack for coming up with pass break ups and interceptions and often doesn’t get the ball thrown his way. He’s still growing but is already a taller defensive back and uses it to his advantage when going up for jump balls and coming down with them. Look for Jaeden to continue to grow into a dominant corner and start earning some college offers.
Drew Clendenin Buffalo High School 2022 DL
Drew was a dominant rusher for Buffalo last year as a junior. He shows great strength and the ability to collapse the pocket and wreak havoc. He has a great first step and shows great handwork to fight off blockers and make a play on the ball. He shows great bend when rushing the passer and doesn’t get pushed upfield when he tries to bend the corner. Look for Drew to start receiving some offers and continue to dominate for Buffalo and be a focal point of their defense.
Mari Lawton Mari Lawton 6'3" | 250 lbs | DL South Charleston | 2023 State WV South Charleston High School 2023 DL
Mari showed great potential in his sophomore year. He was dominant for being a smaller defensive end and showed great quickness and the ability to fight off blocks and wreak havoc in the backfield. His first step is insanely quick and shows great length when not letting blockers get ahold of him. Mari is still growing and has already grown much bigger than he was last year and should see his production go up along with him being dominant for South Charleston and their pass rush.
