Dane Dougherty Dane Dougherty 6'4" | 210 lbs | QB Mountain Vista | 2022 State CO , 6’4, 210, Mountain Vista
A tall quarterback prospect who can get outside the pocket and extend plays with his legs. Dane throws well on the run and will square his shoulders before releasing the football towards his target. A talented prospect who has his best ball ahead of him.
Antwuan Jackson Jr Antwuan Jackson Jr 6'1" | 180 lbs | QB Douglas County | 2022 State CO , 6’1, 180, Douglas County
A true dual-threat quarterback prospect who can beat you with his arm and his legs. Douglas County did a great job of moving the pocket for Jackson, as he relished the opportunity to throw or run. Jackson is a strong intermediate thrower who isn’t afraid to fit the ball into tight windows.
Keegan Patterson Keegan Patterson 6'0" | 180 lbs | QB Longmont | 2022 State CO , 6’, 180, Longmont
Keegan has good footwork in the pocket and can make throws off multiple platforms. He shows a lightning-quick release and the ability to set up & throw across his body. He’s got a natural feel in the pocket and knows when it’s time to get out.
Colton Allen Colton Allen 6'3" | 195 lbs | QB Valor Christian | 2022 State CO , 6’3, 195, Valor Christian
A timing thrower who can get the ball out of his hand fast. Allen shows good arm strength and had no issues throwing the field go route. His best work is done off play-action, getting outside the pocket and giving him a three-level read.
Will Geiman Will Geiman QB Eagle Valley | 2022 State CO , 6’, 195, Eagle Valley
On tape, Geiman does a good job of catching the snap, setting his feet, and letting it rip. He showed a solid arm and the ability to work the field on all three levels. Geiman was very impressive as a quick game thrower and consistently put the ball on his target’s numbers.
Brandon Gutierrez, 6’2, 210, Skyview
This is a quarterback who is tough to bring down in the pocket. He understands cornerbacks and will throw his targets open on the back shoulder ball. He can make throws under pressure and will stand tall in the pocket like it’s nothing. To me, he could be one of Colorado’s quickest rising quarterback prospects.
Jace Bellah Jace Bellah QB Pueblo South | 2022 State CO , 5’11, 170, Pueblo South
This kid is a physical runner with the ball in his hands, and he will run you over if you don’t get out of his way. Bellah has some zip behind his ball and isn’t afraid to take a shot over the middle. As a playmaker, he’s at his best when he can drop back, take off and just make something happen. He could have a bright future at DB too.
Will Schrotenboer, 6’3, 210, Resurrection Christian
A lefty who will consistently place the ball right in the breadbasket. On tape, Will climbs the pocket, with his eyes downfield looking for a target to hit. He’s not a burner as a runner but does have some wiggle behind him and can keep a play alive once the pocket collapses.
Trey Hines Trey Hines QB Limon | 2022 State CO , 6’, 170, Limon
The first thing that jumps out to you about Hines is his accuracy. This is a kid who constantly puts the ball right on the money and hits his receivers in stride. He’s got the speed to get to the corner as a runner and will pull-away from defensive backs. He does a good job setting his feet to drive the football downfield vertically.
Dylan Wigglesworth Dylan Wigglesworth QB Denver East | 2022 State CO , 6’, 185, Denver East
A wide-open, spread offense quarterback that will force you to stick in coverage once a play breaks down. Dylan can pull a zone read and can create chunk plays on the ground as a runner as well. When facing the rush, he’s not afraid to take a shot from an unblocked defender if it means hitting his wideout.
