Although it took some time for these players to commit, the wait was worth while. The universities that are receiving these talented players are blessed.
QB Tommy Lock
Lee’s Summit High School
Committed to: University of Missouri
The legacy of the Locks continues. Just like his older brother, Drew Lock, Tommy will follow in the footsteps of his older brother to Mizzou. The university has recruited multiple dangerous weapons to add to their dynasty, tying them for the highest class ranking in the history of their program. Lock will fit right in along with this talented group. He has a strong IQ with great instincts when he’s on the field. He can read defenses and move right out of the pocket in a heartbeat. Lock has an amazing arm as well. He is extremely accurate with his throws, especially when he scrambles out of the pocket. Lock is also very elusive and hard to take down.
DB Chris Robinson
McCluer High School
Committed to: Wayne State College
Robinson is one of the most agile defensive backs to ever come out of the state of Missouri. He’s extremely athletic all around, and he’s not afraid to show it. In the 2019-20 season, Robinson racked up 50 tackles and seven interceptions, which was the highest number on the team. He is a very physical player with top notched speed, and he is a first class ball hawk. There were some plays when he snagged the ball out the air with one hand. Although Robinson wasn’t able to have his season in the fall, he has been working all winter long for the spring. He has performed at a high intensity at many different camps and 7 on 7 leagues. Robinson will be a stand out defensive back at Wayne State.
K Logan Seibert
Belleville West High School
Committed to: Lindenwood University
Kickers don’t get enough love, but Seibert is willing to change that. Seibert is ranked 9th amongst all other kickers in the country. On kickoffs, he can average over 70 yards from the 35 yard line. In the 2019-20 season, Seibert went 8/10 on field goals, his PAT percentage was a 90%. His longest field goal was 49 yards. Now that the state of Illinois has allowed high schools to play football this spring, Seibert is a guy to look out for. This kid has a boot, and he will do great things in the Great Lakes Valley Conference for the years to come.
WR Tony Bransfield
Riverview Gardens High School
Committed to: Missouri Baptist University
Bransfield is a huge sleeper in the St. Louis area. He is a certified playmaker when it comes to playing the wide receiver position. The 6 foot 170 lbs receiver can go up and get anything that’s in the air. He is a huge deep threat to the secondary, and he is fast when he’s in the open field. Bransfield had 426 receiving yards and four touchdowns in the 2019-20 season. He will be a huge asset to the Spartans’ offense for the next four years.
