While they posted a 4-3 season, it was in those four wins that head coach Ben Bullock and his staff felt good about the team.
Closing the season with wins over Winter Park Trinity Prep and a 38-13 win over Bradenton St. Stephens in the playoffs, the Highlanders would fall short – but remain optimistic, heading into the off-season and the 2021 season.
Several players are returning for the 2021 season and have experience.
Many of those Class of 2022 (rising seniors) are looking for their stock to rise in the off-season.
Quarterback Joey McCann is 6-1, 215-pounder who is a solid prospect, but also holds down a 3.6 GPA.
Two-way prospects such as Andres Adam (RB/OLB), Brian Brakeman (OL/DL), Machai Campbell (DB/WR), Nick Furry (OL/DL), Jalen Gummer (DB/WR), Logan Jones (DE/TE), and Solomon Miller (DB/Athlete). There is also linebacker Jah Quinones.
The Class of 2023 has Malachi Marshall (WR/OLB) and Daniel Williams (LB/RB). The freshman class (2024) also features brothers Jaydon Libema (OL/DL) and Jeremyah Libema (OL/DL).
