Continue ReadingArizona saw some serious talent make it official with there new schools on National Signing Day. However, coming to my surprise, there are still some big time WR’s available. From every level of college football, Arizona still has some guys that can make a difference at the next level. Take a look at 5 WR’s who remain unsigned:
Dorian Singer Dorian Singer 6'0" | 175 lbs | WR Pinnacle | 2021 State AZ , 6’2″ 175lbs, Pinnacle HS
Singer is a very complete WR all around. He shows an excellent leaping ability with body control to win contested catches, snag back shoulder throws, or adjust for athletic catches. He did a very good job utilizing solid technique with both feet and hands to get a clean release against pressed up CB’s, and does a great job getting stacked. Singer is a fluid route runner showing solid route integrity, not letting DB’s reroute him. He can be physical when he needs to, yet can also get shifty and make opponents miss in open space. He has very good length for a 6’2″ kid with a strong catch radius. He has risen his stock dramatically this season, and holds notable offer from Texas, Utah, Iowa State, Air Force, and numerous lower FBS and FCS offers.
Isaiah Roebuck, 6’0″ 185lbs, Marana HS
Roebuck has been putting on a show recently at 7on7 games and tournaments. As a WR, he possesses athletic, reliable hands and good body control to adjust his body to make difficult catches. He has very good top end speed with solid lateral mobility and change of direction to get out of breaks quick. He’s a lethal punt returner as well and has big play ability anywhere he lines up. He is just a very impressive all around athlete. Roebuck has most recently been offered a PWO by the University of Arizona, and has recently racked up numerous offers from Ottawa University (AZ), Hastings College, and Jamestown.
James Groff James Groff 6'2" | 165 lbs | WR Sandra Day O'Connor | 2021 State AZ , 6’2″ 170lbs, O’Connor HS
Groff is a clean route route runner and does a great job disguising and setting up his intermediate and deep routes. He is very good at winning contested balls or catching in traffic, as he’s shown the ability to snag a vert in triple coverage on film. Groff has strong hands and secures the catch very well, making it difficult for DB’s to punch or rip it away. He has deceiving speed to pick up solid gains after the catch, sometimes taking it to the house at the high school level. He identifies and sits in open windows well, and is a very smart football player overall. He holds a notable offer from Yale.
Daymian Stewart Daymian Stewart 6'2" | 175 lbs | WR Sandra Day O'Connor | 2021 State AZ , 6’3″ 170lbs, O’Connor HS
The Groff-Stewart duo at O’Connor High was nasty this past season. He does an excellent job setting up his routes to burst into his route to generate solid separation. He’s shown active feet at release and has shown the ability to get stacked over DB’s to pose as a deep threat. On film, he hauled in a couple contested catches with clear defensive P.I. which was impressive. Stewart has much room to put on weight, and is a very good route runner overall with a high ceiling. Projects as a future starter at the D2 level.
Jonah Leon, 5’11″ 175lbs, Yuma Catholic HS
Leon displays solid body control with soft hands, to adjust and haul in difficult catches. He’s had a couple of impressive catches with defenders all over him on film, showing excellent coordination. He can be shifty in open space or physical when he needs to be. Very effective blocker in the run game and did a good job playing til the whistle. Basked off his build and skillset, he would most likely fit best as a slot at the next level. Leon has most recently been offered by Salt River (juco), Southwest Baptist, Lewis and Clark College, University of Jamestown, and Ottawa University (AZ).
