The 2022 class in Georgia is extremely deep in the 2022 class, but the 2023 class is doing it’s best to stand out as well. The peach state is producing elite talent in the secondary every year, and there are plenty in the 2023 class who are striving to be the best in the country. Multiple 2023 cornerbacks already hold Power 5 offers and have become national prospects over the last few weeks.

As you know by now, the Grayson Rams were one of the top high school football teams across the country last fall. They sleep-walked their way to the 7-A state championship and they did it mainly because of their outstanding defense. Daugherty, who was only a sophomore last year, was a big reason why the Rams defense was so dominant. The 6-foot-1 180-pounder is a hard-working defender who is technically sound with fluid hips. He can play on the outside, but he’ll likely play in the middle of the field as a safety at the next level.  He covered some outstanding playmakers during the 2020 season
