I have Ludwick at #4 ahead of Savaiinaea and Oregon commit Emar’rion Winston Emar’rion Winston 6'3" | 245 lbs | DL Central Catholic | 2022 State OR , as I for see him being even better in college.
Malik Ross Malik Ross 6'0" | 190 lbs | ATH Tualatin | 2022 State OR 6-0 190 ATH Tualatin- Ross could be a double digit D1 offer athlete. He is that good. Also a talented hooper, he earned honorable mention all-conference accolades as a Sophomore, projecting as one of top kick returners in the state as well.
Andrew Savaiinaea Andrew Savaiinaea 6'3" | 265 lbs | DL The Dalles | 2022 OR 6-3 235 OLB The Dalles- This kid’s stock has shot through the roof in recent weeks, landing offers from 1/2 the PAC 12 (Oregon, Oregon St, UCLA, Cal, Washington St). Expect him to absolutely destroy the competition playing for the 5A school after playing for west coast power Eastside Catholic in (WA) as a Sophomore.
Gavin McGuire Gavin McGuire 6'0" | 200 lbs | LB Lake Oswego | 2022 State OR 6-0 200 LB Lake Oswego- As a Sophomore McGuire put himself on the map during the playoffs, putting up one of the most impressive performances of any athlete in the state. He plays with a non-stop motor, coming from a very athletic family.
Royce Fasel Royce Fasel 6'0" | 225 lbs | LB Glencoe | 2022 State OR 6-0 210 LB/RB Glencoe- As a freshman he showed flashes of dominance. That’s rare. As a Sophomore he was the only player in Oregon at the 6A level to earn all state accolades. Royce could potentially be a 1st team all-state RB/LB the next two seasons
Jackson Jones Jackson Jones 6'0" | 190 lbs | QB Tualatin | 2022 State OR 6-1 190 QB Tualatin- Jones has got an absolute whip. 7v7 coach Houston Lillard raves about his ability. He will be the guy at Tualatin the next few seasons with D1 weapons at the skill positions in Malik Ross Malik Ross 6'0" | 190 lbs | ATH Tualatin | 2022 State OR & Cole Prusia Cole Prusia 6'3" | 190 lbs | DB Tualatin | 2022 State OR . Splitting time as a Sophomore he didn’t get a ton of reps, but he is legit.
Spencer McKelligon Spencer McKelligon 6'3" | 210 lbs | LB Jesuit | 2022 State OR 6-3 210 OLB/TE Jesuit- Expect to hear Mckelligon’s name often. The Crusaders have turned out some of the top LBs in the West over the last few years (Joey Alfieri- Stanford, Andy Alfieri- Cal) etc.. He can play on both sides of the football and has the size and overall athleticism to compete at the D1 level.
Dom Montiel Dom Montiel 6'3" | 185 lbs | QB Marshfield | 2022 State OR 6-3 185 QB Marshfield- Montiel started as a Sophomore throwing for close to 2000 yards and 17 TDs (14 Passing) in 9 games. He looked great on the camp circuit this off season, with his overall appeal coming with his size and overall athleticism.
Melikiola Kingston Penitoa Melikiola Kingston Penitoa 6'3" | 270 lbs | OL Jefferson | 2022 OR 6-3 290 C Jefferson- Definitely one of the top O linemen in the state for the 2022 class. He can play multiple spots up front, while projecting as a Mid Major or Big Sky type center. Look for him to be a huge factor, as this year’s Democrats team could be one of the best in the PIL in some time.
Cole Prusia Cole Prusia 6'3" | 190 lbs | DB Tualatin | 2022 State OR 6-3 190 ATH Tualatin- Coach Houston Lillard said it well. Prusia is a “grown man”. It’s rare to see an athlete with size be so versatile, but he is that dude. Look for him or Malik Ross Malik Ross 6'0" | 190 lbs | ATH Tualatin | 2022 State OR to be the next kids offered at the D1 level.
Kyron Albright Kyron Albright 6'1" | 180 lbs | ATH Beaverton | 2022 State OR 6-1 190 ATH Beaverton- Hopefully Albright has his cardio in check as he will rarely leave the field once the season starts. The Beavers could potentially have all everything 2021 athlete Trent Walker Trent Walker 6'3" | 190 lbs | WR Beaverton | 2021 State OR playing the QB position, which would make Kyron the primary target offensively.
Kaden Schell Kaden Schell 6'4" | 250 lbs | DL Central Catholic | 2022 State OR 6-3 235 DE Central Catholic- As a Sophomore Schell played a big role in helping the Rams to the 6A state title. He plays with a non-stop motor and also did an outstanding job on the offensive front. Look for Schell to project on D and be one of the best in the state this season.
Jamar Flippen Jamar Flippen 5'10" | 180 lbs | ATH Banks | 2022 State OR 5-10 180 ATH Banks- Flippen had an outstanding Sophomore year, making 90 total tackles with 3 INTs and also scoring 5 TD’s offensively. He helped himself out immensely with impressive performances on the camp circuit this off season as well.
Bryce Dyer Bryce Dyer 6'5" | 205 lbs | WR North Medford | 2022 State OR 6-5 200 WR North Medford- Not a lot of people know about him yet but they will. Expect Dyer to be one of the breakout players state wide. He is long and a multi-sport threat, playing for a talented Tornado program.
Zack Schlottmann Zack Schlottmann 6'3" | 230 lbs | TE Glencoe | 2022 State OR 6-3 220 TE/LB/K Glencoe- A lot of respect for this kid’s focus and drive. Separate from his size and overall athletic ability, he earned all-conference accolades at multiple positions as a Sophomore.
Lucas Tuski Lucas Tuski 6'0" | 215 lbs | RB Marist | 2022 State OR 6-0 210 RB Marist- Tuski was dominant as a Sophomore accounting for 1,314 yards and 24 TDs. He is a big, fast, and powerful back that should dominate 4A ball over the next few years. It will be interesting to see what he does on the camp circuit against top competition.
KJ Johnson-Gibson KJ Johnson-Gibson 6'0" | 175 lbs | DB Clackamas | 2022 State OR 6-0 175 WR Clackamas- KJ has upped his stock a great deal the last few months, impressing on the 7v7 circuit while running some of the nicest routes in the region. With Jack Artman Jack Artman 6'3" | 195 lbs | QB Clackamas | 2021 State OR at QB the Cavs should be able to expolit his talents at wide out during the spring.
Gunner Yates Gunner Yates 5'11" | 190 lbs | ATH Coquille | 2022 State OR 5-11 190 ATH Coquille- The son of former Southern Oregon All American and San Francisco 49er’s free agent RB Griff Yates. Gunner went off as a Sophomore accounting for 1,361 yards and 21 TDs, while also making 90 total tackles on D, at the small 2A school. He should be considered one of Oregon’s best regardless of classification.
Dylan Layne Dylan Layne 6'2" | 200 lbs | DB Lake Oswego | 2022 State OR 6-2 200 Safety Lake Oswego- Another kid we have talked about a lot. He jumped 10+ spots from the initial rankings, as he fits the mold of a very versatile Safety, who projects as a D1 kid at some level. Look for high end academic schools (Ivy’s) to be all over him.
Mikey Gibson Mikey Gibson 6'2" | 200 lbs | QB Canby | 2022 State OR 6-2 195 QB Canby- As stated numerous times recently Gibson has the same type of ability as former Cal QB Kevin Riley and current Colorado Quarterback Sam Noyer, according to head coach Jimmy Joyce, both kids whom he coached. He is a phenomenal overall 3 sport athlete.
