They’re always a consistent powerhouse that draws national attention and has been the home of some of the nation’s top recruited prospects in the past. However, even the 2024 class at Bosco has gotten their feet wet with numerous D1 offers, and it’s not slowing down anytime soon. To have an elite freshman on a squad is special enough, yet St. John Bosco has 3 freshmen who have seen D1 offers pour in as of late, and others who look to be a big threat in the future, adding highly talented depth to the Bosco program. Here’s is a look at the St. John Bosco 2024 prospects:
Peyton Woodyard, DB, 6’1″ 185lbs
Woodyard has absolutely lit up recruiting boards lately, recently picking up an offer from Michigan. Woodyard picked up his first offer back in August from Arizona State, and it has just taken off since then. He followed up with an ACC offer from Florida State, then landed offers from UNLV, Kansas, Arizona, Florida International, and Oregon State. He is a special type of talent that doesn’t come around too often, and will be one of the most recruited DB’s in the nation. His change of direction and overall speed is a mile above the freshman level. Just a phenomenal all around athlete and will be a very exciting prospect to follow throughout his career.
Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa, LB/SS, 6’2″ 210lbs
Viliamu-Asa has also had a hot hand recently with his recruitment. In the past week, he picked up offers from Michigan and Arizona. He racked up offer #1 in January from UNLV, then followed up with offers from Kansas, Oregon, and Oregon State. He has a great build for 2024 kid with solid strength and physicality. Very athletic in coverage as he’s shown the ability to man up and lock down opponents in 7v7 and other offseason drills. He’s going to be a big striker and have a big role on the Bosco defense going forward.
Marcelles Williams, ATH, 5’11” 170lbs
Williams recruitment has been similar to Woodyard’s. He has picked up offers from USC, UNLV, Oregon State, Nevada, Kansas, Arizona State, Florida International, Florida State, and most recently Michigan. Excellent athleticism across the board showing a good change or direction, break on the ball, and body control at a young age. He’ll continue to grow and put on size and will be another highly touted prospect going forward for St. John Bosco.
