The state of Georgia is known as one of the top running-back producing states in the country and produce Power 5 running backs on an annual basis. There's plenty of young running back talent in the state currently and a few of them are coming off impressive freshman seasons.

Here are a few 2024 running backs to know who are on the verge of breakout seasons in 2021.

Jordan Triplett - Frederica Academy

He may not play against the best competition down in the Savannah area, but Triplett is a star in the making in the peach state. He's an excellent runner who took the region by storm last year as a freshman. The 6-foot-0 185-pounder is a big play waiting to happen with great speed and strength for his size. He knows how to make a defender miss, he's tough to tackle for just one defender, and was a true game-changer last season. Triplett was one of the most productive backs in the entire state last year, regardless of class, rushing 202 times for 1,704 yards and 21 touchdowns. He also caught 8 passes for 113 yards and one more touchdown. Expect Triplett to continue running over defenses
