5’’11, 170 pound stud, soon to be national recruit. Hasn’t even played a down of high school ball and already has offers from Arizona, ASU, Kansas, FSU, FIU and Nevada. He has an older brother who plays at USC and another brother thats plays at ASU. Football runs deep in his family. Him and Peyton Woodyard should be All American DB’s when their high school career is over. Marcelles is a gritty tough athlete who can get involved in all action whether it is defense or offense. He has the speed and the high football IQ that will lead him to success early at the varsity level as a freshmen. Has all the tools to be the best. Some say he will be better than Max and Macen but we will see! He has been working hard playing for Premium Sports LA.
Marquis Gallegos, Chaminade, FS/SS, 2024
6’1, 170 pound FS/SS is a tall, lengthy corner who is a ball hawk and loves intercepting the ball. Quick and agile, once he puts on weight and becomes a great tackler, he should be an all around DB. He showed talent at the Prep Showcase in Santa Clarita. He has been working hard with Premium Sports and going to all their 7v7 tournaments.
Ruben Gamboa, Chaminade, DB, 2024
6’0, 170 pound DB who runs a 4.7 forty yard dash as a 9th grader. Another member of the Premium Sports. He looks like he can be an island type DB. As he grows, we will all see him shine and be an impact at Chaminade. He has been working hard and playing 7v7 tournaments with his club team. One of the most physical/versatile DB in his class.
Brian Jurado, DB/S, Los Alamitos, 2022
5,11, 180 pound safety from Mayfair who transferred to Los Al. He is a 2x 1st Team All League and has been a starter on varsity as a freshmen. Underrated DB with quick back pedals and a ball hawk mentality. He likes to get active in the box too and get physical. He is probably their best defensive player and should make an immediate impact when the season starts. Still has 0 offers and it will be coming in very soon.
Lane Broderick, DB/S, Los Alamitos, 2022
5’11, 190 pound transfer out of Mater Dei. Los Al is looking like a stacked team right now and look dangerous. Shifty athlete who is quick with his feet. Has good coverage and ball skill as a DB. Will be a starter for Los Al and should have a crazy season with his new teammates. He has been going off for his club team, Premium Sports LA. I believe he will soon blow up and be more well known. Los Al’s defense just got that much better.
Ethan O’Connor, DB/S, Los Alamitos, 2023
6’1, 175 pound beast. This kid is a monster. Transferring from Servite to Los Al, this team is now stacked and Ethan coming in will make the job easier for the O and D coordinator at Los Al. His height and length makes him harder to tackle or get by. I believe he will only grow and get stronger so we will all see him perform at a high level. He already has 5 offers from Arizona, ASU, Kansas, LSU and NAU. Although he has offers I do believe he is still underrated.
Jeremiah Cox, Birmingham, DB, 2021
6’1, 200 pound beast from Birmingham who transferred to Alemany. He has one offer from Fresno State. His total career stats on varsity in 18 games played, 45 solo and 79 total tackles, 1 sack and 3 interception. He is a tackling machine and to see that coming from a DB is impressive to D1 coaches. He is a smart DB who seems to read the defense well before the snap occurs. He has been playing club football with Team Elite during the pandemic.
Jalen Duncan, Long Beach Poly, DB, 2021
6’0, 180 pound DB who played for Mayfair but now transferred to Poly. His career stats are 9 solo and 22 total tackles, 13 assist. He also caught 7 receptions for 133 yards and 1 touchdown. Jalen has been working hard transitioning to his new team. He has been playing with the LB Grind club team. He is an underrated athlete who shows promise in what he does. He is a hard worker who dedicates himself to the game and has pride in what he does. Committed to the game.
Donovan Turner, Long Beach Poly, DB, 2022
6’1, 190 pound with a 3.4 GPA. He is an underrated athlete who can play at the D1 level. He played with the LB Grind club team and has been improving. He should be a solid player for the Jackrabbits when the season starts back up. He will be playing alongside with a talented DB class from Long Beach Poly. I believe he will pock up offers late in his class.
