Prep Redzone looks at the current prospect rankings for New Jersey’s 2022 recruiting class. New Jersey was one state that could play some games last fall during the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on some research, I believe you’ll see some changes after the next rankings update by Prep Redzone. For now, let’s look at where things stand in the 2022 New Jersey Football Prospect Rankings.

Today we look at New Jersey’s players from No. 75 to No. 66.

No. 75 Semaj Black Semaj Black 5'10" | RB Timber Creek | 2022 State NJ  Ι 5-10 Ι 195 Ι Running Back Ι Winslow Township HS

Black played both running back and outside linebacker last season. He has a little quickness to him, but still needs to develop his overall speed. Black is the No. 14 running back in the state.

No. 74 Owen Haughney Owen Haughney 6'1" | QB Old Bridge | 2022 State NJ Ι 6-1 Ι 194 Ι Quarterback Ι Old Bridge HS

Haughney is the No. 9 quarterback in the state. During the 2020 season, he completed 41-out-of-91 passes for 759 yards, eight touchdowns, and four interceptions in six games. He’ll want to improve his completion percentage (45%). Haughney helped lead his team to a 5-1 record.
