Carson Su’esu’e Carson Su’esu’e 6'5" | 200 lbs | QB De La Salle | 2024 CA , QB, De La Salle, 6’4” 185 lbs.
Great frame and length to build on at 6’4” 185 lbs. He’s a natural athlete that is capable of making explosive plays with both his arm and his legs. Has a live arm that can push the ball vertically but also shows a good ability to mix up velocity and throw with touch at the short and intermediate levels. As a runner, he shows good top end speed and lateral agility to make defenders miss in the open field. Already has seven offers to his name including ASU, FAU, Tennessee, Utah, and Hawaii. He will excel in the option offense at De La Salle but has the ability to transition well to other positions at the college level if need be.
Maealiuaki Smith Maealiuaki Smith 6'4" | 190 lbs | QB Serra | 2024 State CA , QB, Inderkum, 6’3” 185 lbs.
A great young talent that is climbing major D1 recruiting boards with offers from Florida State, San Jose State, and UNLV. He has great length already with an athletic frame at 6’3” 185 lbs. He’s a smooth athlete with good footwork and pocket mobility. Colleges will love his natural feel and instincts for the position to go along with his anticipation and timing. Shows good accuracy by being able to be on target at all three levels and understanding where to miss. He’ll be one of the top 2024 QB recruits in northern California.
Darius Curry Darius Curry 6'1" | 190 lbs | QB Long Beach Poly | 2024 State CA , QB, St. Bernard, 5’10” 190 lbs.
A very impressive dual-threat QB with exceptional athleticism and talent. Shows he can beat you in a variety of ways whether that’s dropping back as a pocket passer and methodically working his way down the field or taking off and making explosive plays with his feet. Good overall mechanics, footwork, and release as a passer he’s very balanced and composed in the pocket as he works through his reads. When he tucks it, he’s extremely elusive in the open field with great short area burst and lateral agility. Already a national recruit he holds offers from Florida State, Michigan State, Michigan, ASU, FIU, Kansas, and Washinton State.
Ajon Bryant Ajon Bryant 5'7" | 160 lbs | RB Mater Dei | 2024 State CA , RB, Mater Dei, 5’6” 155 lbs.
Explosive quick twitch athlete with elite level speed and elusiveness. A threat to take it all the way every time he touches the ball he shows great burst, COD, and body control that is well beyond his years. Displays the vision and patience to find open running lanes and flashes good instincts/anticipation to read his blocks. Colleges will love his versatility as a runner, returner, and receiver out of the backfield. Going to be a huge playmaker in the Mater Dei offense.
Jack Ressler Jack Ressler 5'11" | 185 lbs | WR Mater Dei | 2024 State CA , WR, Mater Dei, 5’11” 185 lbs.
Ressler has all the traits of a national wide receiver recruit. Very advanced still and technique as a route runner for his age. He understands how to create separation and shows a great ability to sell his routes and come out of his breaks. Natural pass catcher that is confident with his hands and flashes a huge catch radius. Possesses the body control and hand eye coordination to come down with difficult receptions in traffic and make highlight reel catches. Offers started rolling in before he began his freshman year, to date he has ASU, Oregon, Florida, Hawaii, and Arizona.
Jaylen’Dai Sumlin Jaylen’Dai Sumlin 6'2" | 185 lbs | WR Sierra Canyon | 2024 State CA , WR, Bishop Alemany, 6’3” 185 lbs.
Great size, length, and frame for a WR at 6’3” 185 lbs. He’s a versatile multi-sport athlete that is smooth and savvy with his movement. Strong route runner that is patient when creating separation and is fluid in and out of his breaks. Plus body control and concentration, he has a great ability to track and adjust to ball flight. Love him as a jump ball threat using his length and leaping ability. Has an offer from Arizona but recruiting stock is rising with a lot of PAC12 attention.
Leehanu Atuatasi Leehanu Atuatasi 5'11" | 310 lbs | OL Mater Dei | 2024 CA , OL, Mater Dei, 5’11” 310 lbs.
One of the top young players without an offer not only in the Mater Dei program but in the state. He has well balanced and compact frame with a very strong lower half measuring in at 5’11” 310 lbs. Flashes great mobility and quick feet for his size. He’s shown good flexibility and bend in his hips and ankles. Good strength, power, and leverage at the contact point, love the way he drives his feet through contact. Great potential and upside as a Power 5 interior offensive lineman.
Ryan Pellum Ryan Pellum 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Millikan | 2024 State CA , WR, Millikan, 5’10” 160 lbs.
Pellum is already a national recruit and one of the most heavily recruited 2024’s in the country with 21 offers to his name. He’s a game changing athlete with elite level speed, quickness, and open field elusiveness. He’s explosive and electric after the catch with the ability to score every time he touches the ball. He’s a natural pass catcher, shows a great body control and ability to adjust to the ball in the air to make highlight reel catches. Offers started to roll in at the beginning of his freshman year but after a strong performance in club ball this spring his recruitment has sky rocketed. He’ll be a name you’ll hear often over the next four years.
