These class of 2022’s should make a big splash for their senior seasons and were just added into our rankings database within this offseason and should see colleges start to get onto their radars.

 

Darius Hubbard Fairmont Senior High School 2022 DL

Darius showed great potential in his junior season. He showed great explosiveness and the ability to hold the line of scrimmage and consistently fight off defenders and make a play. He uses his hands well and shows the ability to rush the passer and collapse the pocket. He has great size to play the interior and shows a great first step. He’ll be paired with Eric Smith Eric Smith 6'6" | DL Fairmont Senior | 2022 State WV who is another great talent in the state and should look to form a great tandem on the defensive line and start having colleges on his radar for the fall.

 

Anthony Casto Anthony Casto 6'3" | DL George Washington | 2022 State WV George Washington High School 2022 DL

Anthony showed great potential in his junior season. He showed the ability to set the line of scrimmage and stop the run when playing in the interior part of the defensive line. He showed the strength to fight double teams and the ability to rush the passer as well. With his size and athletic ability he should look to have a big senior season with having a year of experience under his belt and should look to see colleges calling him in the fall.

 

Avery Chapman Avery Chapman 5'10" | DB Gilmer County | 2022 State WV Gilmer County High School 2022 DB

Avery showed great potential on both sides of the ball. He showed the ability to shut down most receivers that he played and showed off great ball skills. He showed great hips in his drop back and the ability to break on the ball and route quickly. He showed great athleticism on both sides of the ball and should look to have a big senior season and have colleges start to get onto his radar in his senior year.

 

Trace Wagner Trace Wagner 6'0" | DL Robert C. Byrd | 2022 State WV Robert C. Byrd High School 2022 DL

Trace had a good junior season and showed upside. He showed the ability to effectively rush the passer and the ability to stuff the run as well. He shows good athleticism and the ability to fight through blocks and make consistent tackles playing along the defensive line. He shows great strength and quickness when fighting off blocks and great strength when fighting double teams. Look for Trace to have a big senior season and have colleges calling him in the fall.

 

Norman Kennedy Norman Kennedy 6'0" | DB Mingo Central | 2022 State WV Mingo Central High School 2022 DB

Norman showed great upside in his junior season. He showed he can consistently cover receivers and often times doesn’t get beat on any route. He shows he’s solid against the run and great against the pass when covering receivers downfield. He shows fluent hips and the quickness to break on routes and the ball when it’s thrown in his direction. He shows good ball skills and with having a good year under his belt should look to have a big senior season for Mingo Central and have colleges start noticing him and get onto his radar.
