While many prospects in this class have garnered much attention, there are still talented prospects who are deserving of more attention themselves. Recently we covered four promising prospects in the class of 2022 and today we return to cover four more.

Dunn is a balanced tight end with nice size at 6’2” 215 lbs. With his skill set and size, he also has the potential to play wide receiver and can be used as a big body receiver. In his junior season, he finished with 19 catches for 234 yards and 3 touchdowns. He flashed the ability to put up even bigger numbers if he was involved more in the offense. He is a great athlete, playing varsity baseball and basketball, in addition to football. Dunn does a great job finding the open space in the middle of the field. Dunn uses his body well to box out defenders and position himself to complete the catch. He’s a willing blocker and makes sure to continue moving his feet. He fights for extra yards and is a strong runner. Dunn has many desirable traits and should continue to receive offers in addition to the 10 he already has.

Brundage is an athletic playmaker and provided Putnam County with many big plays this past season. Putnam County uses him as a running back and quarterback. He has great speed and can separate from second-level defenders. Brundage possesses an amazing ability to change direction. He has great vision and follows blockers well, getting chunk gains on the ground. He hits the hole a quick burst. Furthermore, he is comfortable running in between the tackles and outside. Brundage is a legit passer with good accuracy on short and intermediate throws. He throws a nice touch pass, lofting the ball over defenders. Brundage is comfortable throwing the ball in between the numbers. He runs the read option well and shows the ability to excel at running run-pass-options. Brundage has tremendous upside and can add value to a collegiate program.

Johnson is a tremendous run support linebacker. He flies around the field and plays with great physicality. Johnson plays with great energy. He comes downhill quickly and stops ball carriers in their tracks. Johnson has a nose for the ball and locates ball carriers efficiently. He excels running stunts, consistently getting into the backfield. During his junior year, he had 66 solo tackles, 113 total tackles, 24.0 tackles for a loss, and 12.0 sacks. He does not waste opportunities in the backfield. Johnson is strong and has the ability to pull down smaller ball carriers with one arm. Johnson is a sound tackler and consistently wraps up. Johnson is a must-watch talent entering his last season and has the potential to play DI.

Jones is predominantly an edge rusher but can also play coverage. He comes off the edge with blazing speed, flying past tackles. He plays with great physicality and can stop ball carriers in their tracks. Great fundamentally, he makes physical and sound tackles. While he excels at rushing off the edge, he can play contain and defends the read option well. He moves well and is a fluid runner. Jones has good football instincts. He is great in the run game and causes opposing offenses problems when trying to run outside the tackles. Jones has solid coverage skills, he knows how to play the curl to flat zone very well. Also, he has the speed to run with tight ends. He put forth a strong showing this past season and ended the year with 56 solo tackles, 77 total tackles, 6.0 tackles for a loss, and 4.0 sacks. While he does not always get the sack, he forces quarterbacks to throw it early or run into another defender. Jones is a promising edge rusher who has what it takes to play DI.
