While many prospects make major strides in their junior and senior season, some prospects start to shine during their sophomore year. The class of 2023 in Georgia features many talented players already. Today, we are going to look at four 2023 prospects with high potential whose talents warrant more attention.
Olan Robinson

Robinson
6'1" | 220 lbs | LB
Newton | 2023
State
GA
, ILB, Newton
Robinson is a great inside linebacker and has demonstrated many promising traits. The first thing that jumps out of his film is his speed off the line of scrimmage. When he recognizes the play is a run, Robinson does a tremendous job coming downhill and engaging ball carriers. He excels in run support and it is clear playing against the run is his strong suit. He is a fluid runner and can change directions quickly. At 6’1” and 220 lbs, he has a great build. Robinson is strong and does not struggle to tackle ball carriers. You have the love the energy he plays with and clearly, Newton does; as he plays on both sides of the ball. Robinson flashed much promise during his sophomore season and I expect more universities to join Tennessee in offering him.

Coney has a nice burst when hitting holes. In general, he does not waste time getting north and south. He picks up a lot of extra yards. Coney is comfortable taking handoffs and pitches. He can run in between the tackles and outside the tackles. Coney lowers his shoulders well when engaging defenders. He is a very talented player that helped Metter have an amazing season. He has a strong plant foot and makes sharp cuts and is often able to make the first defender miss. He is also a pass-catching threat out of the backfield. Coney has nice speed and challenges second-level defenders trying to catch him. After a strong sophomore performance, Coney is already a prospect universities should be looking into.
