Here is a look at five members of the Class of 2022 looking for college opportunities.
Noah Hastert, 6’6”, 190, Cair Paravel – Hastert is a solid athlete and a tall young man. At six-foot-six he can go up and bring in high passes. The Lion junior caught 58 balls in 2020, ten of which were for touchdowns. He could play wideout, tight end, or H-back transitioning into an 11-Man offensive scheme.
Jesus Cassas, 5’11”, 150, Skyline – Cassas is an enjoyable athlete to watch play. He is a dual-threat running back in the rushing and passing games. Cassas made 29 receptions for 531 yards in his junior season. He rushed for 1,321 yards in 2020. Cassas racked up 30 total touchdowns, eight of which were on receptions.
Theron Wedel Theron Wedel 6'2" | 165 lbs | WR Medicine Lodge | 2022 State KS , 6’2”, 175, Medicine Lodge – Lodge is a fast, big target for quarterbacks. He finished his junior season with 30 receptions, seven of which went for scores. The Medicine Lodge wideout averaged 16-plus yards per catch and 84-plus yards per game.
Kyle Reese Kyle Reese 5'10" | 165 lbs | ATH Lebo | 2022 State KS , 5’10”, 165, Lebo – Reese scored 10 touchdowns in 2020 on pass receptions. He made 31 catches and gained 458 yards in the Wolves’ pass scheme. The Lebo running back also rushed for 587 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Caden Rathgeber, 5’2”, 115, South Barber – Rathgeber a quick receiver caught 23 balls for 435 yards and had 10 touchdown receptions. His future might just be on defense as a safety. He rolled up 94 tackles in his junior campaign and added four interceptions.
