These five players are all in the class of 2022 and will be looking to improve their skills this offseason at combines and camps.
Tyler Claiborne, 6’3”, 185, St. James Academy – Claiborne is one of the top receivers in the class of 2022 in Kansas at any level. He finished his junior season with 76 catches for 1,171 yards. Claiborne is quick off the line and can break tackles. He caught 12 balls for touchdowns for the Thunder in 2020.
Jordan Brown Jordan Brown 6'4" | 170 lbs | WR Free State | 2022 State KS , 6’4”, 170, Basehor-Linwood – Brown is a tall target who can go up and get the ball. He finished in the 2020 season with 73 catches, 16 of which were for touchdowns. He is not afraid to run routes over the middle of the field and his size created match-up problems for shorter defensive backs.
Dion Sylvester, 5’10”, 160, Parsons – Sylvester is a speedster who runs routes well. He made 52 receptions during his junior season. Parsons will have a new quarterback in 2021 which could impact his number of targets. Sylvester rolled up 647 receiving yards and caught seven touchdowns.
Levi Knoll, 5’8”, 155, Holcomb – Knoll is a three-sport prospect that could get multiple college looks. He caught 40 balls for 705 receptions. Knoll had nine receptions for touchdowns. He is a threat in the return game and can provide an offensive threat in just about any scheme.
Trey Harmison Trey Harmison 5'11" | 170 lbs | ATH Riley County | 2022 State KS , 6’0”, 160, Riley County – Harmison is an explosive player and one that an offense can be built around. He finished with 27 catches in 2020, but what was more impressive is that he averaged 24-plus yards per reception. He also rushed for 466 yards and scored 17 total touchdowns for the Falcons.
