What head coach Andre Walker and Director of Football Operations Brad Lord and their football team has done for this upcoming season is showcase some impressive football players – especially on defense.
Leading the way is 6-3, 220-pound Class of 2022 defensive end Bryan Thomas Bryan Thomas DL Foundation Academy | 2022 FL Jr., who had 25 tackles for loss and 12 sacks in 10 games.
Class of 2022 defensive tackle Reggie Jean Reggie Jean DL Foundation Academy | 2022 FL (6-4, 285) already has schools such as Virginia Tech, Virginia, Liberty, Buffalo, and Central Michigan looking in his direction.
Class of 2023 standout Edward Byrd (6-1, 265) had a huge year in the middle for this quality team. Class of 2022 defensive end standout Donovan Branch (6-3, 230) has schools such as Syracuse and Central Michigan looking at him. Like Thomas, he also dominated opponents off the edge, coming up with 20 tackles for loss as well as 12 sacks.
Hunter Moss Hunter Moss 6'5" | 315 lbs | OL Winter Garden Foundation Academy | 2022 FL (2022) is a 6-5, 305-pound offensive lineman that played tackle in 2020, but will be moving to center for his senior year. He recorded over 20 pancake blocks in 9 games.
MAKING A PUSH FOR SUCCESS IN 2021
As impressive as those prospects that we mentioned are to this program, there are other prospects that college coaches will be watching this off-season as well.
On offense, there are Class of prospects such as receivers Dominic Sanzone (5-11, 175) and Treven Postell (5-10, 150), and center Matt LeMieux-Bott (6-2, 205).
Defensively, there is safety Bowman Bower (6-2, 190). Class of 2022 punter Ian Garcia is expected to be an asset as well.
Class of 2023 prospects such as linebacker Sam Zagame (6-2, 210), quarterback James McGinn (6-1, 175) and cornerback Brady Lord (5-10, 165) will be needed as well for depth on a team that is expecting some big things in 2021.
