The ability to play multiple positions on a football field is a rare and highly prized value in college football recruiting that many people  might not know about. The ability to have an athlete play multiple positions and the ability to "project" that same athlete at multiple positions at the college level is something college coaches covet at times.

The ability to have the speed to cover ground quickly and effectively and to have the natural ball skills to make key plays at various places on the field. Having the ability to play multiple positions on the offensive and defensive sides of the football is of great value to any high school or college team at all levels.
