Continue ReadingEvery day I get sent tons of film. I believe in leaving no stone unturned and that philosophy has brought you a list of hidden gems today. A lot of these players, I would have never known about unless I made time to check my DMS and email. It’s a sacrifice of time I find well worth it especially with the amount of talent I have been sent to my inbox. It would be selfish to keep these hidden gems from the world to coaches, high school football fans, and athletes. I present to you the chosen few who made my list. Unforntaly I don’t have time or not everyone can make the list. I only feature players getting it done on and off the field.
Roshane Cruikshank (22) | 5-11 WR | Lamar
Absolutely an electric wide receiver who’s got dangerous speed and route-running ability. Wow, I was impressed watching his film. A tuff guy to coral, Roshane can break multiple arm tackles and rack up plenty of yards after the catch and can put points up on the board.
Derek Lagway (24) | TBD QB | Willis
Derek’s got a strong arm and proper mechanics for being only a freshman last year playing on varsity. Limited snaps but what he showed is deep ball arm strength and velocity. Also doesn’t have to set his feet to throw a strike while buying time with his legs. Should be in the conversation of one of the top QBs in his class after more tape next season.

Rodney Smith (22) | 6-0 RB | Westfield
A big, fast, and physical back that can run in between the tackles. Rodney has the vision to make a few cuts and take the ball to the house. He’s got adequate speed and he can lower his shoulder and plow some people over. I like this back, FBS / FCS level type of prospect.

Damario Parks – Vinson (22) | 6-0 | Nolan Catholic
Average height receiver but plays huge. He’s a strong physical guy, that can absolutely flatten someone blocking. On passes, he can go up and pluck the ball out of the air boxing out defenders away from the ball. His speed is lethal—- one of the fastest, most dangerous guys with the ball in his hands. He should have a few stars by his name and plenty of FBS / FCS offers.
Carter Sido (22) | 6-0 QB | Hillcrest
A QB to watch next season is this guy right here. Carter is currently working with NFL vet Seneca Wallace, sharpening his skills for next season. Carter is a dual-threat that can move beautifully in the pocket and throw with pinpoint accuracy on the run. I like his velocity on throws, he’s proficient in mid to intermittent passing game, just needs to work a little more on his deep ball and he will be an excellent QB.

Amir Julik Hairston (24) | 5-11 RB | Bluefield (WV)
Amir has explosive speed out of the backfield. He was only a freshman last season but he showed he will be one of the prominent running backs in class throughout the entire country.
Joshua McMillan II (22) | 5-10 WR / DB | Katy Tompkins
This receiver can leave defenders in the dust. Seriously, this guy has some jets and paired with his hands and route-running ability. Make him a matchup nightmare. Quick off the LOS, can be on top of corners in a hurry. Most definitely a highly rated prospect for colleges.
junior season highlights, go check em out! #glee✌🏾😁 https://t.co/aFmOczBlVv

Isaiah DeLeon (23) | TBD QB | San Marcos
This quarterback had a terrific arm and footwork in the pocket. I like his throwing motion, high and over the top, with a quick release. Oh yeah, and he can run too. Strongarm and paired with his speed and agility make this a QB a defensive coordinator’s nightmare. Throws well on the run, I really like this QB, and should be a division I prospect.

Makhilyn Young (22) | 5-10 RB | Midland Lee
A good running back that can run in between the tackles and make a few cuts to take runs all the way to the end zone. Good lateral speed and can consistently produce. Great vision, Makhilyn can turn runs into big yardage.
Chris Brazzell Chris Brazzell 6'4" | 175 lbs | WR Midland Lee | 2022 State TX (22) | 6-3 WR | Midland Christian
Chris is an impressive NO. 1 outside receiver who runs routes and moves well for his size. Terrific frame at 6-3, he has some room to lean out and add mass in college to make him an even dangerous threat out in space. Speed was impressive and can run a variety of routes. Throw it up and let him go get it.
Demetrias Charles (22) | 6-0 QB | Channelview
Coaches this is a huge hidden gem. I cannot hype this QB enough. Watch the film, it doesn’t lie. Dangerous dual-threat QB that can torch em throw the air and ground. Elite speed, not afar aid to lower the shoulders and plow one into the end-zone himself. Shows beautiful footy in the pocket and great mechanics and timing on all of his throws. Throws extremely well on the run and doesn’t need to set his feet to deliver a Randy Johnson fastball. Terrific QB and should play division I, the only knock on him is his height, not his play.

Nathaniel Palmer (24) | 5-10 RB | College Station
One of the, if not the — best back in this list. Palmer has that breakaway speed. He can run in between the tackles, make a few moves and he’s off for the races. Often untouched into the endzone. I love this running back. The fact this guy was only a freshman last season blows my mind. One of the best in his class and this will be a name to know for years to come. Will be a special player in college and maybe on Sundays.
One of the best backs in the class of 2024. Mark my words. 🐺
– Breakaway speed
– Runs in between Tackles
– Great visionI hope to retweet this one day. When this guy is at the top🔥 #thefilmdoesntlie @NatePalmer2024 @Lemmingscouting @PrepRedzoneTX https://t.co/OTOsPn4hK4

BJ Higgins (22) | 6-1 QB | Roosevelt
A very raw quarterback that can fit the ball into tight windows and hit receivers in stride down the field. Moves well in the pocket and can take off and pick up yardage. Great at finding the open receiver. Not afraid to run over defenders either with his lean build.

Wyatt Gates Wyatt Gates 6'3" | 200 lbs | WR Vista ridge | 2022 TX (22) | 6-3 WR | Vista Ridge
Wyatt is a terrific receiver on the outside. At 6-3, he has an impressive build and runs routes very well. Gets off the LOS and has those long strides that help him fly down the field in the blink of an eye. He can sure get up there and pluck the ball out of the air. I like his hands. This guy needs some offers.
Junior season🗡 22 catches, 420 yards, 3 tds. Check out my highlight – https://t.co/ptjlSfFQVY

Evan Roach Evan Roach 5'10" | 175 lbs | DB Point Pleasant | 2023 State WV (23) | 5-9 QB / ATH | Point Pleasant (WV)
Evan is an athlete from West Virginia. He is like your Swiss Army knife that can do it all. Okay QB, RB, WR, and DB. A little undersized but the guy can ball. Good speed and hands. Not bad throwing ball either.
Nevon Cooper (22) | 6-0 WR | Madison
Nevon is one of the most dangerous return men and slot receivers I have seen in a while. He has the ability to take the ball to the house each time he touches the ball. Runs super crisp routes and can leave defenders in the dust with his elite speed. FBS prospect that can produce right away.
Bryson Singer Bryson Singer 6'3" | 210 lbs | QB Parkersburg | 2022 State WV (22) | 6-4 QB | Parkersburg (WV)
Bryson is arguably one of the best QBs out of West Virginia. This guy is a beast on the field. He can get it done with his legs or arm. He’s got elite arm strength. Can make all the throws down the middle of the field and out routes. Terrific speed for a QB that can throw so well. Colleges are starting to gain a lot of interest in him. Offers should start flying in soon.

Tariq Miller Tariq Miller 5'10" | 175 lbs | WR North Marion | 2022 State WV (22) | 5-10 WR | North Marion (WV)
Terrific receiver with good speed and hands. Route running could use a little improvement but he has what it takes to make it to the next level. He has that big play-making ability after the catch.
