The Panthers came into the season with a team that would’ve contended for a state championship in PIAA Class AAAA. Despite not being able to play for a state championship, Imhotep Charter’s players will get a chance to showcase their talent this spring. Their roster is littered with some of the top prospects in the state of Pennsylvania. Prep Redzone looks at some of the top players to watch on the Panthers.
Enai White Enai White 6'6" | 230 lbs | DL Imhotep Charter | 2022 State PA Ι 6-5 Ι 230 Ι Defensive End Ι 2022
White has a ridiculous amount of offers that include the likes of Florida, LSU, Ohio State, Penn State, and Alabama. The speed at which he comes off the edge at his size is ridiculous. White does possess a few pass moves and he’s active with hands at the point of attack. He is going to destroy Philly Public League opponents this spring.
Keon Wylie Keon Wylie 6'3" | 220 lbs | DL Imhotep Charter | 2022 State PA Ι 6-3 Ι 205 Ι Defensive End Ι 2022
I feel bad for opposing offensive lines that have to deal with both Keon Wylie Keon Wylie 6'3" | 220 lbs | DL Imhotep Charter | 2022 State PA and Enai White Enai White 6'6" | 230 lbs | DL Imhotep Charter | 2022 State PA (see above). Maryland, Michigan, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and Penn State are among his 20-plus offers. He is just as fast as Wylie coming off the edge, maybe a little faster. He’s undersized for a defensive end, but it seems to be no problem for him at the high school level. Obviously, he’ll need to put on some weight when he gets to the next level if he plans to stay at the defensive end position.
Emir Stinette Emir Stinette 6'5" | 330 lbs | OL Imhotep Charter | 2022 State PA Ι 6-5 Ι 330 Ι Offensive Guard Ι 2022
Stinette has offers from Arizona State, Cincinnati, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Toledo, and West Virginia. It’s been over a year since he’s been able to play in any games. I look forward to seeing how he has progressed as a player.
Terrance Adams Terrance Adams 6'2" | 175 lbs | ATH Imhotep Charter | 2022 State PA Ι 6-1 Ι 170 Ι Wide Receiver Ι 2022
From a highlight standpoint, it’s not too much to go on. However, check with us in about a month or so. I am sure that will change. Adams has an offer from Akron, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Toledo, and West Virginia.
Giovonni Graham Giovonni Graham 6'2" | 300 lbs | DL Imhotep Institute Charter | 2022 State PA Ι 6-2 Ι 280 Ι Defensive Tackle Ι 2022
Akron and UMass are the schools that have offered Graham. He gets past offensive linemen with both quickness off the line and by running through them with his power.
Maurice Beverly Maurice Beverly 6'1" | 220 lbs | LB Imhotep Charter | 2022 State PA Ι 6-0 Ι 205 Ι Linebacker Ι 2022
Beverly holds an offer from both UMass and Morgan State.
Khalif Kemp Khalif Kemp 6'3" | 225 lbs | LB Imhotep Charter | 2022 State PA Ι 6-4 Ι 205 Ι Linebacker Ι 2022
Bowling Green, Indiana, Kansas, UMass, and Ole Miss are among Kemp’s offers. The last time he stepped on a football field was for Upper Dublin.
Rahmir Stewart Rahmir Stewart 6'0" | 205 lbs | DB Imhotep Charter | 2023 State PA Ι 6-0 Ι 195 Ι Safety Ι 2023
Stewart is one of the most elite players in the nation in his class. His 30-plus offers include Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Baylor, Notre Dame, and Boston College.
Two Youngins To Watch For
Jah’Sear Whittington Ι 6-1 Ι 240 Ι Inside Linebacker Ι 2024
Kenny Woseley Jr. Ι 5-11 Ι 155 Ι Cornerback Ι 2024
