Christopher Thomas, WR, 2022, Cactus
A dynamic athlete that is an explosive playmaker. Good top end/breakaway speed to be a vertical threat or turn short passes into long gains after the catch. Strong route runner that is smooth in and out of his breaks and does a great job mixing up speeds. Good ability to track and adjust to the deep ball. Effort player that is also a capable stalk blocker on the outside.
Brysen Barrios Brysen Barrios 5'7" | 160 lbs | ATH Pusch Ridge Christian Academy | 2023 State AZ , RB, 2023, Ironwood Ridge
A versatile athlete that can affect the game in a variety of ways with his ability to play RB, Slot, DB, or Returner. He is quick twitch and shifty with the ball in his hands and shows a good ability to make people miss in space. He flashes good burst and acceleration in all three phases of the game and shows great body control with his footwork and lateral agility. He has performed extremely well in off season camps/showcases. A prospect to keep an eye on in the 2021 season.
Jordan Thomas, DB 2023, Ironwood Ridge
Had a strong performance at the showcase and in the limited game action during the 2020 season. He’s a plus athlete with speed, quickness, and burst. Capable of playing multiple positions at the college level, the game comes easy to him showing good instincts and natural game awareness. Great playing speed, he’s quick to get up to full speed and can change directions on a dime accelerating out of his breaks. Great foundation of skills to build on.
LJ Martin, RB, 2023, Canutillo (TX)
The Texas product made his presence known with his smooth athleticism and versatility. He’s a fluid athlete with a strong and well built frame at 6’1” 190 lbs. Great vision and patience as a ball carrier. He runs with good balance, pad level, and leg drive that helps him run through contact and break tackles. He’s a natural pass catcher that can create separation from the backfield or split out as a receiver. Plays all over the field for his HS team and possesses a lot of untapped raw potential and upside.
Will White, WR, 2024, Sabino
The freshman consistently flashed and caught scout’s eyes throughout the day. He’s a confident route runner that is creative establishing separation and is precise with his cuts. Does a great job selling at the top of his routes. He’s a good all around athlete with big play potential using his speed and ability after the catch. Strong and reliable hands, he extends and doesn’t allow the ball to get into his body. Will be a playmaker in the Sabino offense for years to come.
Aidan Herring, DL, 2023, Perry
Good athlete off the edge at 6’3 230 lbs. Plays with good bend, leverage, and pad level. He’s strong and powerful at the contact point with a great nose for the football. He’s relentless in pursuit and is smart with his attack angles to put himself in position to make a play. Has the frame, talent, and ability to transition well to a LB at the college level depending on development. Looking to build on a strong sophomore campaign.
Jaxon Haynes, WR, 2023, Hamilton
Demonstrated great body control with his ability track and adjust to the ball in the air. He’s explosive out of his stance with a strong burst off the LOS. Good ability to create separation different ways, he can use his speed to outrun or be more of a crafty route runner creating space with a good release and sharp cuts. He’s a fluid athlete with soft hands capable of making highlight reel receptions. Just scratching the surface of his potential.
