The one position that has the least amount of spots available and the most competition is the quarterback position. NextGen decided to add The VI QB College to its regional showcases, and they’re evaluating significantly more quarterbacks. NextGen held its first The VI QB Challenge and Regional Camp back in Florida during the last weekend of January.
What is THE CHASE?
The chase is a new selection process that the NextGen selection committee will use to choose the 70 quarterbacks that will compete in The SHOW 2021 which will be held the last weekend in June.
HOW DOES THE CHASE WORK?
After each regional showcase, NextGen’s evaluators will select the top performers, and those players will be added to their national rankings based on the opinions of their evaluators and scouting partners.
Rankings are updated after each regional showcase. The rankings will be locked on May 16, 2021.
