Every Monday, we’ll update you on all of the recruiting news from across the state. From offers to commitments and everything in between, we’ll have you covered. THIS WEEK’S TOP STORIES

Bixby | 2022
Announces Top Eight Schools
For Kansas, Memphis, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Vanderbilt and West Virginia, last week was a good week. Because Bixby 2022 running back Braylin Presley Braylin Presley 5'9" | RB Bixby | 2022 State OK , our 2020 Player Of The Year, announced those eight schools were in his top eight. That meant they were still in the running to land one of the more electric players to come out of Oklahoma in a few years. Presley talked with us following his performance at the Under Armour camp earlier this month about his recruitment.
Initially, he was going to cut down his schools to eight on March 21st but mentioned that he would probably be pushing that back. Instead, he announced that updated list just a few days after the 21st on the 24th. Presley is in no rush to make his final decision. Oklahoma State is certainly an interesting school to watch as Braylin’s older brother Brennan is a dynamic receiver for the Cowboys. However, Braylin noted that playing with his brother wouldn’t be very high when it came to deciding where he would play his college ball.

Owasso | 2022
Hits An Offer Milestone
At this point, it should be no secret that Owasso 2022 defensive lineman Chris McClellan Chris McClellan 6'4" | DL Owasso | 2022 State OK is the hottest recruit in Oklahoma’s 2022 class. In the last several months, McClellan has raised his stock so much that he’s knocking on the door of the 2022 “Big Three” of Gentry Williams Gentry Williams 6'0" | DB Booker T Washington | 2022 State OK , Jacob Sexton Jacob Sexton 6'6" | OL Deer Creek | 2022 State OK and Talyn Shettron Talyn Shettron 6'3" | WR Edmond Santa Fe | 2022 State OK . McClellan hit another milestone within the last week when he picked up more Power Five offers. He was offered by Auburn and Florida State. The Auburn offer was the last one he’s received and that marked his 30th offer from a D1 program.
Last week, we wrote about McClellan once again in the Recruiting Report as he had something pretty rare happen when it came to offers. He hit the Power Five cycle with an offer from a program within each P5 conference. This week, he picks up a few more offers and now has 30, without a doubt the most in the state. We’ve been tweeting out offer after offer that whenever I type “Chris” in my iPhone, the predictive text automatically pops up with “McClellan” as one of my three options. That should give you a perfect idea of just how much McClellan has been in the recruiting headlines over the last few months.

Putnam City North | 2022
Has Busy Week Within The Big 12
While McClellan hit an offer milestone last week, it was another 2022 defensive lineman that ended the week with the most offers. Putnam City North defensive end Jaleel Johnson Jaleel Johnson 6'5" | DL Putnam City North | 2022 State OK finished the week with four offers, three of them coming from Big 12 programs. It started with Missouri offering and then three Big 12 schools followed. Iowa State, Kansas State and Baylor all jumped in and offered the PC North big man, who had a breakout season in 2020.
Johnson is a prospect that we have on a shortlist of 2022 guys that we want to see in person this offseason. We’ve seen a ton of talent in person already but Johnson is one that we still want to check out. The only time I saw PC North in person last year, they lost to Midwest City in a game that was really dominated by the Bombers. So Midwest City got most of the attention that night. However, we’ve watched the junior tape and there is no doubt that Johnson has the talent and physical skills to be a highly sought-after pass rusher.
Texas State Comes After 2022 Offensive Linemen
it was a busy weekend for Texas State as they identified two 2022 offensive linemen in Oklahoma that were high enough on their boards to earn offers. We start with the second prospect to earn an offer as it was his first from a D1 program. Holland Hall’s Jordan Nolin Jordan Nolin 6'5" | OL Holland Hall | 2022 State OK picked up the offer from Texas State on Sunday. Nolin was the anchor to Holland Hall’s offensive line as they captured a state championship in 2020 and it should have been apparent to anyone who saw Nolin that he had D1 potential. He has the skills and he’s also a vocal leader on the sideline.
The first offer of the weekend went to Yukon offensive linemen Lane Parks Lane Parks 6'5" | OL Yukon | 2022 State OK . The Yukon big man continues to pick up some offers from all across the country as his recruiting momentum continues. Just like with Nolin, Parks was the anchor of Yukon’s offensive line in that flexbone rushing attack. Because Yukon ran the ball more than just about every other team in the state, Parks has emerged as one of the top run blockers in the state.
