One of the top priorities for Will Hall in his first season as the head coach at Southern Miss was to hammer the state of Mississippi from a recruiting standpoint. Early returns on the class of 2022 indicate that Hall and his staff have done exactly that to this point.

Hall himself is a Mississippi boy growing up in Amory and playing for his dad, Bobby, who is a Mississippi High School coaching legend himself. After his high school playing days, Will went on to play at Northwest Mississippi Community College before finishing up his playing career at The University of North Alabama. At the end of the day, Hall knows the state of Mississippi like the back of his hand, and it has been proven on the recruiting trail so far.

The month of March has been huge for the Golden Eagles so far, seeing them add 5 commitments from Mississippi high schoolers and tagging on one commit from the Mississippi JUCO system as well.

On the offensive side of the ball USM fans have a lot to be excited about early on with this class.  Kenyon Clay Kenyon Clay 6'0" | QB Union | 2022 State MS is a do it all playmaker from Union, MS
