OT/DE Michael Jones, Brentwood c/o 21. The Brenwood Eagles have always came close to making it far in the playoffs. Although they fell short to South Calloway in 2019, they are seeking to redeem themselves. Jones is one of the top seniors that will lead the way. He is a fast, physical offensive lineman who loves to flatline defenders. He stacked up numerous pancake blocks during his junior year and he also showed out on defense. Jones collected 84 tackles, eight sacks, two fumble recoveries, and an interception. Him and the Eagles will go up against DuBorg this Saturday at 1 p.m.
RB Juan Roby Hazelwood East c/o 22. The Spartans may not have had the perfect season back in ’19, they are looking to bounce back this spring. Roby was one of the key players that contributed to the team. Followed by other senior running backs, he was third on his team for most rushing yards. Roby ran for 122 yards and scored one touchdown. He is a hard runner who is able to bounce outside to get upfield. Whenever East is at the goal line, they depend on Roby to score, which is a huge asset. He will be a major X factor for the Spartans on Saturday against University City.
DB Eric Brown Hazelwood Central c/o 22. Brown is the key of the Hawks defense this year. He has been putting in overtime during the offseason. He has great patience and he can read the offense really well. He is also an elite coverage corner, and he is extremely physical. Brown will be a player to look out for on Saturday as the Hawks go up against Mccluer North.
