ATH: Raymell Hester, 6’, 170, Bedford, 2022
On tape, Hester shows great footwork, timing, and a big arm that he knows how to use. When he’s forced to rollout, he does a good job squaring his shoulders, ensuring the utmost accuracy. As a safety, he can read the quarterback as a center fielder and will break once the ball is thrown. He’ll run the alley as a tackler and can come to balance and make plays in space.
WR: Anthony Cirino, 5’10, 175, Wadsworth, 2022
A dynamic kick returner who will make you pay if you give him the chance. Cirino is an absolute burner who is special after the catch. He’s at his best after contact and shows such great balance & situational awareness on film. He carries a 4.0 GPA on top of it and could be very intriguing for a high academic program.
QB: Amare Jenkins Amare Jenkins 6'3" | 180 lbs | QB Dublin Scioto | 2022 OH , 6’3, 175, Dublin Scioto, 2022
Jenkins is a pocket passer who can get the ball out of his hand quickly. He can throw receivers open and give them a moon shot to run under. He’s deadly when throwing over the middle and can make split field safeties pay in a big way. He’s shown the ability to effortlessly wing it over 40 yards downfield & has no issues with overall arm strength.
QB: Devin Sherwood Devin Sherwood 6'0" | 190 lbs | QB Austintown Fitch | 2022 OH , 6’, 185, Fitch, 2022
A gunslinger who can make throws downfield off every platform. Sherwood smoothly shuffles around the pocket to avoid duress. When the protection breaks down, he has the legs to extend plays, keeping his eyes downfield searching for a target. He’s a spot thrower who is extremely accurate, accounting for 15 touchdowns and 0 interceptions as a junior.
OL: Caleb Lyons, 6’4, 290, Piqua, 2022
A big man who can get out and pull on the perimeter. Lyons was nasty in counter schemes and consistently teed off on unblocked defenders. He plays with adequate knee bend and has some pretty heavy hands. Keep the tape rolling, as it gets better and better as it goes on. He holds one offer right now from Air Force.
WR: Cooper Rusk Cooper Rusk 5'11" | 190 lbs | WR Nordonia | 2022 OH , 5’11, 185, Nordonia, 2022
Rusk had steady production as a junior, hauling in 55 catches for 802 yards & 9 touchdowns. On tape, he’s a fundamentally sound route runner who uses his stair step to his advantage. He has the speed to take the top off a defense and is a major mismatch against linebackers. He can stick his toe at the top of his route and will accelerate coming out of his cut.
OL: Ryan Steinbrink, 6’4, 275, Canal Winchester, 2023
The only 2023 prospect on this list, and he most certainly earned it. Steinbrink moves exceptionally well for a big man and plays with a serious mean streak behind him. He can easily reach defensive ends and get out & lead the way on perimeter screens. To me, he’s a sure-fire FBS kid and has all the tools Division one schools are looking for.
