Darius Fox Darius Fox 6'3" | 290 lbs | OL DeMatha | 2021 State MD , 6’3″, 300, 2021
Darius is a well-coached offensive lineman with a good sense for the game at his age. In the run game, Darius uses his understanding of the play’s aiming point to effectively put himself in between the defender and the ball carrier to create holes in the defense on both inside and outside zone. He also demonstrates the ability to properly execute double teams by opening the down defensive lineman’s shoulder for his teammate to take over before cutting off the linebacker to help guide his running back into the second level. He has also proven himself as a well-coached puller who does an excellent job of attacking the defenders inside shoulder, forcing them outside, and creating a huge hole on the counter and power plays. As a pass protector, Darius does a good job of maintaining the depth of the pocket. After using his footwork and hands to cut off the defensive lineman, he does a good job of using his strength to keep the defender at pay so he can win the rep. The Howard commit is a player with a great understanding of the game. By pairing that with his talent, he has the potential to excel at the next level.
Davin Dzidzienyo Davin Dzidzienyo 6'3" | 300 lbs | DL DeMatha | 2021 State MD , 6’4″, 290, 2021
Davin is an explosive defensive tackle with a high motor. In the run game, Davin has displayed the strength to stalemate or knockback opposing interior offensive lineman while having the presence of mind to find the ball carrier with his eyes. Once he’s found the ball carrier, he’s shown the ability to use that same strength to disengage from the block and make the tackle for little to no gain. He has also demonstrated the ability to change direction quickly. On plays where he quickly beats opposing offensive lineman and explodes into the backfield, he’s demonstrated the ability to quickly change direction and run down the ball carrier, resulting in TFL’s or sacks. On pass plays and screens, Davin shows off his motor by continuing to chase the ball downfield, putting him in the position to make a touchdown-saving tackle potentially. The William and Mary Commit is a very talented athlete with tons of potential that will be tapped into by his school’s staff on the next level. I believe Davin can develop into a true three-down defensive tackle that can be an impact player for the Tribe for years to come.
Kam’Ryn Thomas, 6’0″, 172, 2021
Kam’Ryn is a sure-handed wide receiver with big-play speed. Kam’Ryn has displayed the speed to separate on downfield routes while exercising the concentration to look the ball in and complete the catch on the run, leading to explosive plays and touchdowns. He also demonstrates the same concentration on well-covered routes, bringing in contested passes to help his team gain tough yards in the passing game. His coaches also do a good job of using other more creative plays to take advantage of his speed and get him on the edge of the defense, such as jet sweeps. Kam’Ryn is also the primary returner on both the kickoff and punt return teams. He does a good job of navigating blocks and using his speed to give his team an excellent starting field position consistently. His ability to contribute on both offense and special teams makes him a valuable asset for a college team and an excellent prospect to watch this spring!
