Here’s an in-depth look into some of the top positional performances from around the state.

Gabarri Johnson Gabarri Johnson 6'2" | QB Lincoln | 2023 State WA , QB, 2023, Lincoln

Johnson continued his to put up big time numbers in the week six win over Wilson with perhaps his most efficient performance of the short season. In the 52-19 victory he threw for 286 yards and 5 touchdowns while completing 17 of 22 attempts with 158.1 QBR. He has great natural arm talent with a quick and smooth throwing motion. Great pocket mobility, he’s able to extend the play by manipulating pressure while being on target throwing on the run. Considered one of the top 2023 dual-threat QBs on the west coast

Ryan Black, RB, 2021, Glacier Peak

Black posted his best game of the season in the 63-21 victory over Monroe where he racked up 235 rushing yards and 5 total touchdowns on only 12 touches, one of those being a 73 yarder. He’s an explosive playmaker on both sides of the ball but as a ball carrier he’s a downhill back that is extremely difficult to bring down. Runs with great balance, pad level, and leverage to run through contact and break a ton of tackles.
