Great pocket mobility, he’s able to extend the play by manipulating pressure while being on target throwing on the run. Considered one of the top 2023 dual-threat QBs on the west coast
Ryan Black, RB, 2021, Glacier Peak
Black posted his best game of the season in the 63-21 victory over Monroe where he racked up 235 rushing yards and 5 total touchdowns on only 12 touches, one of those being a 73 yarder. He’s an explosive playmaker on both sides of the ball but as a ball carrier he’s a downhill back that is extremely difficult to bring down. Runs with great balance, pad level, and leverage to run through contact and break a ton of tackles. Possesses deceptive breakaway speed once he gets in space. Offered by Whitworth but is one of the better 2021’s still available.
Jayden Limar Jayden Limar 5'9" | 190 lbs | RB Lake Stevens | 2023 State WA , RB, 2023, Lake Stevens
Prep Redzone’s #1 RB in the 2023 class was extremely productive in the shootout win over Marysville-Pulchuck. On just eight carries he had 130 yards and two touchdowns then added 55 yards and a touchdown on four receptions. He’s a natural athlete with a strong frame at 5’11” 190 lbs. He’s a good combination of speed and power with a great burst through the hole. He’s capable of picking tough yards between the tackles but is a big play threat every time he touches the ball. Has two PAC12 offers thus far from Oregon State and Utah.
Sam Huard Sam Huard 6'2" | 180 lbs | QB Kennedy Catholic | 2021 State WA , QB, 2021, Kennedy Catholic
The nation’s #1 Pro-Style QB broke Brett Rypien’s all-time state passing record in a big way by throwing for 515 yards and eight touchdowns in a win over Kentwood. With the UW signee enrolling in college classes on Monday he finishes his career with 13,214 passing yard and 153 touchdowns. He has a well rounded physical skill set starting with a quick and effortless throwing motion. Great accuracy and arm strength. Has the ability to put it on a line in a tight window but mixes up velocities extremely well to throw a catchable ball. Demonstrates his high football IQ and understanding of coverages with his ability to sit back in the pocket, manipulate coverage with his eyes, and dice his way down the field. He will go down as one of the best high school signal callers in Washington history.
Jason Brown Jason Brown 5'10" | 205 lbs | ATH ODea | 2024 State WA , RB, O’Dea
One of the most exciting prospects in the 2024 class, Brown broke Myles Gaskin’s single-game touchdown record just days before receiving his first offer from Nevada. He’s an exceptional athlete capable of playing either side of the ball at the Power 5 level. Great top end speed and lateral agility, he’s quick and explosive out his cuts and in space. Possesses a well built frame at 5’8” 170 lbs. that allows him to be strong and powerful at the contact point. It will be interesting to see how he develops in terms of projecting position at the college level but has a great skillset to build on and will be a double digit D1 offer guy before long.
