Hero Kanu, DL, Santa Margarita Catholic
The 6’5” 300 lb. DT has been skyrocketing up recruiting boards with 14 Power 5 offers in the last two weeks including elite programs LSU, Clemson, Michigan, Oregon, Texas, and Penn State. A transfer in from Germany, he’s only been playing football for a year but flashes great raw ability and potential in combination with his elite size. Possesses athleticism and explosiveness rarely seen at his size, he has exceptional mobility, feet, and quickness. Naturally strong and powerful he’s easily able to overpower opponents and gain positioning. Turn on the film and you’ll see why he became an overnight national recruit.
Jack Endries, TE, Monte Vista
Endries has shown D1 talent from the get go but has had to wait for his recruiting to catch up. He’s finally getting the attention he deserves with his first three D1 offers coming in this month from Fresno State, UNLV, and Pennsylvania. He’s one of the top 2022 TE’s in the state with ideal length and a frame to build on at 6’5” 230 lbs. He’s versatile for a TE with the ability to line up in the slot or with his hand in the dirt. He’s a plus athlete that can run and is smooth in and out of his breaks. Large catch radius and strong hands. He catches the ball well in traffic using his length to extend and catch everything away from his body. He’s a playmaker after the catch with his ability to absorb contact and break tackles. Expect more offers to come in.
Tomarion Harden Tomarion Harden 6'2" | 225 lbs | RB Inglewood | 2022 State CA , RB, Inglewood
The transfer from Narbonne saw his recruiting kickoff early with an offer from Utah in February 2019 but has seen his stock on the rise in the last few weeks with offers from Ole Miss, San Jose State, and USC. Great size with a strong build at 6’1” 230 lbs. He’s a downhill back that accelerates through the hole and does a great job getting square to the LOS. He’s effective both between the tackles and to the outside. Can use his size and strength to absorb contact and break tackles or his speed to beat defenders to the edge and turn the corner. Great lateral agility he makes quick efficient cuts without sacrificing speed. Plus vision and decisiveness to see and hit open running lanes. Recruiting stock will continue to rise.
AJ Jones, WR, Colony
Offers have been rolling in for the last two months from both the Power 5 and Group of 5 levels. Most recently he’s picked up Nevada, Northern Arizona, Harvard, and UCLA. Possesses all the physical traits college coaches look for in a WR including size, length, athleticism, and speed. He’s effective at all three depths of the field using a variety of releases and creative route running to gain separation. His speed allows him to stretch the defense vertically. Displays great body control and tracking ability, he just adjusts well to the ball in the air and attacks it catching everything within range. Explosive after the catch he’s elusive in the open field and a threat to score every time he touches the ball.
Jason Oliver Jason Oliver 6'0" | 170 lbs | DB Jason Oliver | 2022 State CA , WR/DB, Liberty (Bakersfield)
San Jose State, Boise State, and Fresno State have all recently offered adding to his list with Oregon State, Cal, and Utah. Long striding and rangy prospect that shows good top end speed and quick feet. He’s a top tier athlete with fluid hips and great change of direction with the versatility to play either side of the ball. Great ability to play the ball in the air at both WR and DB using his plus body control and coordination. He has worked hard to add weight/strength to his lean frame but will continue to fill out as he matures. Possesses a strong natural skillset and foundation to build on as he continues to develop. High ceiling and great upside.
